I managed to take off a sixteenth too much and ended up with a new trigger out of the deal. Do not touch the carrier though I only removed metal off the hammer, all contact surfaces have been polished the same. I thought about the top of the hammer to even out the casting seam and shorten the reset, but that makes me a bit nervous.
