It's too bulky for me. But mine is more of the bob Vogel grip with the pinch in and torque of the arms. Look for the video on YouTube. I shot over 1k last weekend and didn't end up with any marks like that. Is the slide biting you by any chance? I grip he shit out of my pistol though. One of the fundamentals of marksmanship is to relax and read your grip but when you're trying to tame recoil you need to grip it. Never got blood on the slide, just on the handle.
