Built a stand for the steel target with enough room for another one

Sleek rig man, looks easy to transport.

If I may, try carraige bolts (round side facing shooter) instead of regular bolts.

Just a suggestion for ease of future disassembly of the the plate and chains.

Thanks vato. I don't know why I didn't think of the carriage bolt. I'm going to try that since I have to replace the other bolts on my other steel targets.

Shotgun guys: Have you noticed less leading when shooting plated slugs? Or is it about the same?

Or perhaps a different question I could ask is do I need to get every last bit of lead out of the barrel? Or do I just run a bore snake through once or twice to get out the powder residue and call it good?

I've never gotten down with the guns done up like that. I don't know if it's just me but my guns are shooters

It's really your call how detailed you get with your maintenance but the plated slugs do leave residue that takes a bit more time to clean. Nothing crazy though; I took a few cleaning rods, a .45 stainless bristle brush and copper removing solvent to clean mine after shooting.

I guess I'm looking at it from a reliability perspective. Obviously if I was to store it for any period it would be clean as a whistle. Is there any harm in leaving some lead in the barrel? It takes a good bit of elbow grease to get it off. Am I wasting my time and wearing out my barrel faster than needed?
