yurvalentine
Anyone here have experience with 6.5 grendel (or the 6mmAR)? Was thinking about getting an AR10 style rifle but I'm wondering if just a new upper might do the trick. Pretty much just for target shooting, long range. I reload so ammo is a non-issue. n8ball2013
You need the ar10 lower for those calibers I believe. It's not a cheap or commonly available round either. Be warned that building an ar10 is not nearly as straight forward as building an ar15 THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. yurvalentine
Both are designed for AR15 receivers, just needs a different BCG and mags (and barrel, obviously) If I wanted to go AR10 there's a lot of better options but cost is the big deterrent. And without being able to buy a lower myself (unless I can get lucky at a gun show or private sale, which so far hasn't happened) options are even more limited and costly. n8ball2013
Why can't you buy a lower you're 18 right? I was thinking creed more not grenade. yurvalentine
From an FFL you have to be 21, because pistols. And actually I found a guy selling stripped lowers, going to buy one tonight. Probably going to build a 300aac pistol with it, though I'm not positive yet.
Airborne
Yup. No stripped lowers for those under 21.
