They are semi auto nothing more. Lots of people like em cause of the way they look, but they are not more deadly than a regular semi auto hunting riffle. With a little bit of love. -Ed Brown "Chainlink" MSH and bobtailed grip frame. -stainless, hand fit thumb saftey and slide stop. -Ed Brown sear -full trigger job ( trigger breaks cleans as a mofo at 3lbs on the nose.) - frame and slide rails hand lapped and polished - wilson recoil spring n shok buff -modified factory grips to fit bobtail -polished feed ramp, throated barrel, polished chamber -wilson extractor -through the jigs on it and tightened the slide to frame fit as much as possible while maintaining reliability ( you can go to much btw) Overall its a great pistol. Im happy with it... feels and runs like a top. Have a few more things to do like XS big dot sights, might have a tiny bit of engraving done also, along with a complete re blue, I want the slabs of the slide to look like a black mirror.
