So since Im heading back stateside and I can get my weapons back now, I want to start figuring out what Im going to purchase next. Its been 3 years and I dont remember the makes of the weapons I have in storage but I know I have an AR-15 with a 100round drum and a 9mm. I use to hit up the range alot so Im looking to get something else. Any suggestions?

My main reason for going with a tube style is for the use of it on longer shots 100+yds, and use the FastFire for shots up to 100yds.. I havent looked thru any of these and just doing my research. In 3 gun ive read the most used is a variable scope.. I agree I would most likely use the red dot most of the time but I would also have the scope if I needed a lot shot. Im still up in the air on this... I wish I lived in a place where I could go out and see (look thru) these before I buy. LOL. I think I will be happy with the set up of tube and red dot

Have you looked into an agog style with a flip away magnifier? I have a Vortex Strikefire on one of my AR pistols and have shot at 200+ yards with it no problem. With a flip away magnifier it would give you the benefit of both options you're looking at.

Honestly Im all over the place on this. First of all its not cheap. So I may end up spending the money and not liking it and have to go a different route, Or I spend the money and love it... Damned if you do Damned if you dont.

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Nope no .22 but I think the AR-15 is a RockRiver Arms if that helps. I was thinking of getting another handgun and I like 1911's. For my AR-15 just get some add ons for it besides the Eotech I already have.

I would get a .22 for CHEAP plinking at the range... I would add maybe a .40 and .45 to your repetoire so you can cover your bases...

If you want to modify your AR-15 look at Midwest Industries, Americandefensemanufacturing,Bravocompanyusa... The 1st 2 i listed offer LE/Mil discounts so you can save some money... Check out Tacticalammunition.com for ammo as well as ammunitiontogo.com

honestly if he has a 9mm I advise tsicking to one caliber. its cheaper. This is coming from a guy who thought it ws cool to have a stupid amount of calibers.

Thats true but it does make for some fun to have a few different calibers whether they be handguns or rifles etc... He can stick with a 9mm and get the 1911 platform if that is in fact what he wants to do
