I discovered the other day I can shoot way faster and more accurate if I grip tight. Don't know if I'm doing it wrong or not but I think it's one of those things where everyone is different. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. If I'm hosing which is about 15 yards and in I'm rolling in on it as hard as I can. Watch some bob Vogel videos to get it. If I'm trying to shoot at something with precise aim at greater distances I will relax it a bit. What he's teaching you isn't about being fast. Right around the same weight as mine is right now (though my scale is broken so I couldn't tell you what the actual weight is lol) so not bad at all. Hopefully it shoots okay.
