Had a threegun match last weekend. Picked my rifle up and my reticle was at a 45. It was the third time I'd had that happen so I fucking yanked the Burris mount off it and put on a warne xskel tonight. After ten minutes it was locked in tight and perfect. I could never get the Burris there. Wondering if I got a bad one or if it was just the combo.

Ive been looking a couple of the Burris sights and was looking for some feedback on them. The two im going between are the AR-332 and the AR-536. Any thoughts on these two sights anyone?

I have a cheap 3-9 x40 that came with my savage .308, I usually shoot 8.5x11 targets at 100. It's ok, I would like more scope though. I can tell you at 200 an 8.5x11 paper is pretty fucking small. I want to get the vortex crossfire ii 6-24 x50 but that is for a bolt gun. That would probably severely limit your ability to use it in any up close distances.

Edit:

So since I didn't answer your question I guess I will ask what do you think you will do more of? 100yd type stuff or 50 yd "action" type shoot where you want faster target picture while aiming down the sights?

I guess if it were me I would keep something like a low magnification red dot on what you have now and if you did a longer barreled upper put something higher power on that
