The official guns and stuff shoot the breeze thread

Recommended Posts

Yeah I'm out of the nfa game for a bit. I'm waiting to see what the hearing protection act does. I'd love a few more cans. Once the wait times start settling back in I may start playing again. I've got a large frame lower and a small frame lower so I can do most things. May end up doing a Beowulf upper yet. I'm actually thinking about taking it relatively easy on the guns this year. I spent a small fortune leading up to the election.

This was purpose bought too strictly to do up for three gun. I'm running more matches this year so I wanted a good scatter gun. Shotguns make or break you in that one

Still have a ton to do like finish the ceiling and a boat load of cleanup but it's usable now.  Shelving will need trimmed in too

Barrel has arrived. Starting to look like a rifle. Already headspace checked the bolt to the barrel and as expected with the Faxon barrel and Aero BCG, headspace is right where it should be. Only issue that has come up is the standard charging handle I have seemed to be bent, causing the handle to ride up the BCG face thus jamming the bolt carrier. I was able to correct it by hand and it now functions properly, however I do not have confidence in it now. Gonna go by my local shop as they carry BCM parts to see if they have any 7.62 charging handles in.

Was your aero bolt super stiff? Mine was ridiculous.

Got more parts in No automatic alt text available.

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
