It does compared to our larger woofers. But the back of the cone will hit the spider before the spider ever reaches its limits. Its good for about 1.75" excursion each way. So 3.5" peak to peak. The spiders are just as large as RF, Cactus and a few companies have used on 4" coiled 18" woofers.
