I bet I can point out something dangerous in like 90% of the cars on here, but I don't have to deal with it so I keep quiet previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. Man, I did. One reason is b/c it was cheap, and I am planning on adding more really soon. The plan is to get 2 15's (or 12's, but I REALLY want 15's) and build a box to hold all four subs. The 2 15's using a shared port on the bottom, and the 12's having separate, sealed chambers. That may sound weird, but I'm trying to make this a little different than what's been done hundreds of times already. Another reason is that I have SO damn much to do, and not near enough time! So the answer is yes and yes, yes I am gonna use a prefab for a min., and yes I promise I am gonna make a custom fiberglass box in the near future. Purplehaze
Okay, so I did manage to get a little done today. Got the rear battery tray built, and got the battery mounted in the correct position. I had to "re-arrange" the wiring to give it enough room. But I didnt have to cut anything, and I covered it w/ new loom. I'm REALLY happy with the way it is turning out so far! I hope to finish it before the game tomorrow, if not it will be monday. But still, you can start to see what I'm trying to do now Here I am filling the hole left from my stupidity: (capacitor) It's my first time using flex fill here, that's why its so sloppy! It's all cosmetic work now, with this and the wood/ Plexiglas battery window. Beside the battery will be the volt meter on the left, and breaker on the right. So far so good! Purplehaze
Okay, so I finally got my rear battery installed. I was a little harder than I expected, but I am very happy with the results. I actually took me longer to fix the hole in the plastic than anything else, but I am pleased w/ the results. After getting the battery trey and faceplate finished, it was time to focus on the plastic cover and voltage meter. I was going to put the meter and breaker on the faceplate, but there just wasn't enough room. So, I only used the meter, and I am gonna build a breaker box later on.
