I have the same amp tuned with a dd-1 on track 5 and it slams a single sa-12 wired to 2ohms pretty well. id def buy the amp again. once i pulled the back cover off i felt like there wasnt much inside. oh and i read that it only draws 57amps max,so i swapped out my 100amp inline fuse for a 60 and it hasnt blown it yet. with this system i get alittle windshield flex in my 4dr civic. thanks for posting the gut pics

it's built on the same concept the rockford constant power series are. It suppose to do the same at 2ohms as 1ohm and do it effiecently. I can say that good airflow is critical with this amp. a lot of people complain it drops out when running full tilt over long periods. I see it could use better capacitance and if you have good air flow it will run full tilt no problem for extended periods and stay cool. It's a finicky amp and is not what i expect from a company like kenwood that use to rate amps at .01% distortion.

I am saddened that they have reduced build quality. It's sad to see a company that use to make such nice equipment sliding down this slippery slope of mass produced inferior products. Live and learn i guess.

I want to clamp mine to figure out how many watts its putting to my sundown. i would guess from what u clamped urs at 600w-700wrms. If i remmeber correctly I got 49.5volts clean on track 5 with the dd1 full tilt.
