- Description this car is a 1971 vw racing bug. it is not a superbug. it started as a normal beetle from the factory and at 200k miles it was restored to mint condition. when that was done it was transformed in to a racing bug as u c here. the fenders hood and rear scoop are fiberglaass. lighter than the stock steel construction. so far i have my system a progressive carb 55 amp alternator conversion kit and off road performance exhaust. i plan on doing alot more but it comes bit by bit.
