[X 18 first series questions]

Hey guys I have a few questions about my first series X18s. First one is are there any differences in box recommendations between the new and old series? Next one is when im designing my new box for them, the website says port area is to be at 112 inches. Now if im thinking correctly a box for two should have twice that correct? They will be slot ported in the back of my trailblazer and ran off of a DC 3.5 for now. Was kinda wondering about the port area because the box spec from the site comes up on the small side for the port area when put into Torres box calc. Just wanting to get the most out of them in the space that i have. Last question is how much should i pay attention to the port area per foot when trying to get the squares inches right? Thanks in advance.

another option you could try is foam weather stripping for doors, did a few back panels in my TB and it seems to work, just have to track down the rest of them now, you can get it a wally world in different sizes. http://www.duckbrand.com/products/weatherization/window-door-seals
