  1. with what i have. the guy i'm working with/under. and this car, a full winter's effort and i should do the numbers i want easy. but who knows.

oya, lil edit here, if i don't set a high goal, then i won't have much to work for and i won't feel as good in the end knowing i could of been better or had higher numbers.

  2. Ok guys, I am taking the next like 18 months off from car audio. One, I just bought a new truck and i have to make payments and all that jazz, not the main thing. two, my dad is a fuck and said if i put audio in there i will be kicked out of the house. first thing i wanted to do was look for an apt in the paper. but i can't afford shit. so i am going to do two things here.

    One:

I am going to keep my shit, sell some stuff that i will not use anymore. I am going to take a break from competing and installing until april or may of 2011 when i move out of the house.

    Two:

I am going to just put a $200dollar alpine HU in(this truck is a 2000 and it just has cassette) and i'm going to put my Hifonics mids and highs in there off an Alpine 4ch I have and just have that. save my money, and then get somthing i can tow around or some shit.

Thanks for all the help Bill Johnson, DJ Williams, Joe Spalding, Rusty Flowers, Danny Britian, Timmy, Chad, Travis. I will be back in 2011 with something up my sleeve.

Till then, i'll be in from time to time, pry hang in chat, but i'll see you guys when i see you. Wish you all the best

  3. So I'm gettin a recone for my DC lvl4 18" this week and was wondering on what kind of options there is to make it more durable. I'm gettin the lvl 5 coils for sure but was wondering what other options there may be. Don't feel like spammin rusty for this so let me know. thanks

with lvl 5 coils, you can do dual one or two ohm. i'm sure he can do dual tinsel leads, and stitched leads. best thing is to email him. that is going to be your best bet

  4. one, make inside of box as smooth as possible. do a thick coat of resin and step sand it. i would raise my tunning to like 40. and see where that takes you. mess around with visers, glove box, seats. backseats. basicly, you want to get your freq up. this is if you wanna get ur number up. if you wanna still hit hard lows, dont' tune as high, but if you want just spl, i'd go mid 40's for tunning, you still gonna play music. still get lows, but no crazy lows

and btw, i got 2 lvl 5 15" subs in a chevy blazer
