Does posting event information on forums actually do any good? I've never been too much of a fan of it. I've done it from time to time.

Those that are online already know about the show(s)( those that can attend anyways ). I find that most retailers just market their events to their own local population anyways. Some that I have seen don't care much about the national scene anyways.
