its not how loud a subwoofer can its how many subwoofers you can get loud
That makes ALOT of sense, you just opened my eyes.

I learned alot more about car stereos since I bought this setup, cuz I thought "more watts = more loudness." I still don't know whats so good about woofers that handle more watts. If I had 4 cheap 18"s and a matching amp, I don't think it would hit as hard as Meade's. is it just about excursion and area?

I just got my 15" 4 ohm DVC CompVX back from Kicker and its brand new. I was wondering if I should just sell it and get 4 comp's. I have a Kicker ZX1000.1 and it powers it great but it doesn't rattle your chest too much. The CVX is 1000 watts RMS, The Comp is 250 RMS. If I get 4, 15" 8 ohm SVC Comps and wire them all in series I'll get a 2 ohm load on my amp. Will it sound extemely better, or only moderatly better???

No I don't care about the factory amp. I'm gonna gat a smaller amp for some new 6X9s. So it dosnt matter if I get rid of the rear door speakers. I was wonderin if it would take from the kicker amp. Thanx

I just thought if I had the speaker wire in a T it would take from the amp input.

I don,t know what peripheral is but its just speaker wire hooked to the 8 pin high level on the amp.

Can someone answer my question? I want to keep my OEM headunit. My jeep has a OEM amp under the back seat. Which would be better, connect the high level inputs before or after the amp, and also should I eliminate the rear speakers or just splice into them??? Thank you.
