For a cheap good battery, I'd look at a Deka intimidator 9a34 or a Die hard advanced gold agm Group 34. I don't think either of the batteries you listed will help too much.

Now this battery IS out of my budget lol. I think the Xp3000 is the most expensive battery I'd want to buy. I was going to go with a 9a31 but XS power seems like the best for voltage drop right now

what is your dollar goal for a battery? you might be better with one of the d series batteries depending on budget.
Both batteries are in my budget since essentially this will be my last purchase.

A little background on me, I'm a 19yr old college student who has been into car audio for about 3 years. Since I am in college I have a budget system going on right now. Since this is a budget system, I don't want to spend too much more money since the spring semester will begin in a few months and I need to save up. I am on the fence about two batteries. The Xp2500 and the Xp3000. I will have a total of about 2400-2500w rms with a MBquart onx2000.1 and RF T400-2. I currently have a die hard platinum g34/78 batt up front with 68aH and a 125a stock alternatorI do plan on upgrading alts later but as I said I'm a college student want to keep prices fairly low. Really what I'm asking is, do any of you believe the Xp2500 and Platinum combined will be able to keep me in the high 12s or low 13s or should I push for the 3000? Obviously the 3000 would be better but will the 2500 suffice for now? . I have 1/0 awg OFC knukonceptz wire ready to be ran to the back battery. Since these are new batteries I couldn't find too much info on these. Any help is appreciated.

I'd get 2/0 welding wire if you want to use cheap quality wire. I was in the same situation as you but I bought 50' of Knu wire just because I know it's great wire.
