i took it to the body shop this morning and they said that the inside of the door was bent. im still gonna take the panel off and see if i can fix it. but on the brite side i did find a black door for 250

i cant tell much about why, but when i took my 15's out and inverted them my peak went from 45hz to 42hz. yes i do have a t/l and did test it. it's louder deeper and just has a better sound.

i walked outside this morning to take my daughter to school, and sometime during the night someone, i'm assuming they were drunk smashed the side off my yukon. luckly its only the drivers door. but damn it seems like a person has something nice that they bust there ass to work for and someone always fucks it up. i'm so pissed right now i cant even see straight. it'll prolly be cheaper to get a junk yard door then repair this one. ok rant off

4 15's or 3 18's fit perfect in the back of a 96 yukon. below the window line even. also if you wanna get loud and make him say what kind of subs are those, put some t3's in there

here is a test that was done on that amp and others. the z1 is a good amp, its just power hungry.

well i was wrong on the box size, it's going to be 12.4cuft after sub and port tuned to 36hz for a daily driver. but if the box doesnt work as good as my present box i'll i'll just go back to the original box. it'll will be a 200sqin port

well the port in my box now is a 13x13 port tuned to 40hz. im just ready to try a diff box

would pvc ports be any better then slot?

it would be regular pvc, if it works and i like it then i'll spend the money on aero's. you seem to have experience with round ports, how do they sound daily compaired to slot

so by shrinking to box size and going to round ports i should at least be able to stay where i'm at db wise?

so with round ports u dont use the standard 15 to 16 sqin per cube?

dont you want the same port area either way? 4 6in ports is only 113sqin.

im fixing to build a new box, it will be 10cuft net with 144sqin of port. question is should i run a single 12x12 port, or 5 6in round ports?

i'm looking for thoughts and opinions on these 3 wires only. knuconcepts 0g, stinger flat 3/0, and db link 0g. those are the only three i'm interested in. i know kicker makes good wire, but due to personal preference i wont run any kicker products what so ever.

where those three 18's walled? i have to keep everything in the cargo area of mine. it's my daily driver. it usually has a car seat and a booster seat in the back. lol

that was my niece. nice vid 2000lade. but mines good for 4 15's in the back. i'm thinking bout changing them out for 3 dd 18's and a dd z2lv

i wouldnt trade my m3's for any other amps. i pound the shit out of them daily and never had a single problem with them. that lil 8's box is 2.12 cuft after sub and port. it surprises alot of people.

well here's my yukon, my list of goodies is 4 t3 audio tss d2 15's, 2 dd m3's wired at .5 daily. it's got t3 6.5 components in the front doors, and t3 6.5cx in the rear doors. there run off a dd c2a. the box has no tricks what so ever. no 45's, no resin, nothing. it was built as a test box. electrical is two redtops, and a 140amp alt. it does a 153.4 at 42hz outlaw, a 150.2 legal sealed, and bassraced a 149. other pics include a 05 350z, an 01 bonneville ssei, a 05 f150 and an 07 tahoe. the f150 does a 149.7@27hz. the 350z does a 141.9@42hz, the ssei does a 141.3@35hz, thetahoe does a 140 flat at 42hz on a pair of dd 8's. now for pics. the blonde is my youngest, the brown haired lil fart is my oldest.

the dd 3500 series will get you into the 150's with the right box and sound damn good doing it. also the t3 tss series will do the same

looks like your box could use some tweaks. as in burn it and build a new one. suvs get louder with doin subs up port back. also make a single bigger port.
