alrite that looks good, you think just brace it about how you have it, like a cross
-
So I just got my box done for my new setup...1 DC Level 4 XL 18"
I'm going to brace it with all thread, but how do I attach the all thread to the box?
-
well its an AQ 2200d, been pretty reliable so fareither could handle it....but if it was my vehicle and it was a good solid 2200watt RMS amp....id throw a lvl5 in it..
-
dont mean to thread jack
but with 2200 watts would i be better off with a lvl5 or lvl4 xl
-
i run an AQ 2200d to my 2 12 inch FI Bl's...no problems at all
hope to be running it to an 18 LVL4 DC within the next month ( build a new box)
-
I've worked out a trade for a lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils
both bl's for the one 18
-
haha yea i always keep that in mind, but I also keep in mind my budget too haha
I was thinking of getting two lvl4 15's instead of 1 lvl5 18, but i knew that i would have to buy another amp to support that...it just goes on and on lol
-
I mean dont get me wrong, I love my BL's and there loud as fuck for what they are...I'm ready to step my game up haha. I want more Cone Area and to be louder, and as far as Ive heard and seen, DC is the way to go. I love the Lvl 5
-
ok, well yesterday i went and remeasured and came up with 11 cubes that i can work with...this is with both backseats still accessible too, so I have wayyy more space than that actually
-
i guess if it needed be, i could get another 2200 and strap them tho
-
the 2200 is plenty for a level 5i wouldnt to anything under 3k.
hmmm, well at the time being i have my two BL 12's and 1 2200, im sellin the BL's and tryin to upgrade to a LVL 5with just the 2200
-
what do you think would be sufficient for a LVL 5 then?
as in how many RMS? cause the rated for a LVL 5 is 2,000
-
Like the title says would an AudioQue 2200d be enough for a LVL 5 18?
and kinda off topic, I'm probly goin to sell my FI BL 12's if anyone is interested
-
yes let me tell you, they dont have the best customer service in the world...but if you keep nagging them about it...they finally get ur alt to you...and that other # is 216-661-6464

only thing i've done for "maintenance" is oil changes, radiator fluid changes, tires, and sprockets/chain.
ok haha, just wonderin, cause im by no means a mechanic haha
-
If I do get a 250 four stroke, what am I lookin at as far as routine maintenance
-
alright, ill try lookin on there...but ive still got a lil ways to go yet, i more than likely wont have enough money until the end of fall id say
-
alright well now im pretty much set on a 250, either a Honda CRF250R or a Yamaha YZ250F
now the hard part, finding one on ebay for around ~3 grand lol
-
get a 4-stroke and ride smart... just remember it has the power to whoop your ass in a heartbeat!
oh im well aware lol
-
sheesh talk about mixed opinions haha...I hink what I need to do is go down to my local shops (Honda and Kawasaki) and test fit some bikes to see which I'm more comfortable on...at the moment I'm leaning towards a 250 because I'm more of a speed and power freak, but if I dont feel comfortable on it, I'll go with a 125
-
id say the 125 or a 250ish 4-stroke, im a big fan of the relliability/no mixing/low torque of 4 strokes
yea I'm planning on going with a 4 stroke if i do get a 250
as far as experience wise, not much experience on a dirt bike, but ive been on 4-wheelers all my life from a Sazuki 80 to a Kawasaki Prarie 650
-
So I'm thinkin of savin my money(I'm 16 haha) and buyin a dirt bike, but I'm not sure what to get.
I'm around 5"7'~5"8' and weigh about 125lbs, do you guys think I should get a 250(thinkin about a yz250, or a crf250r) or just step it down and get a 125?
also, I dont have much experience on dirt bikes, but ive raced mountain bikes for five years if that counts towards anything lol
-
i believe it had a cracked basket
yea i think, but still lol

ok, I think Ill go with the dowel rods, seems a little bit easier
how do you think it would be best to connect the rods to the box?
