Looks like either a noise filter or a diode to protect it from being hooked up backwards. And that is an old ass radio
edit:
get a better shot of the entire back of the unit. and the front too please.
its the old radio out of my tbird. blue/red wire goes to a light, only other wires are the one speaker ground and the 4 speakers outputs. was tryna use as much stock wiring as I can for now, but I said fuck it and just ran new wire for everything
