before spending three bills id make sure the filter for the ac etc was in good condition... and maybe hook up a box fan in the room with another filter duct taped behind it...
I do that in the bedroom and you wouldn't believe the dust that filter traps! It sure helps me breathe better through the night too.

is also your friend with fuse holders, wire, and connectors. They carry some really good speakers too-

No joke on the $. That always puts a kink in my plans too. If it didn't, I and everyone else here would have Steve's Tahoe or the Hoopty goin' on!
kkiiaann33 has experience with running those amps, so I would def. go with more batts if you can swing it. It may cost more now, but it would really bring on the suck if you burned up that Sundown due to low pwr!

Check your voltage at the back close to your amps. Also you could try to get it clamped to see what kind of amperage you are actually pulling vs what your system "should" be pulling with impedances and so forth.
More batts doesn't hurt, but one biggun under the hood if you can get away with it makes stuff simpler IMO

You might want to put another one in front of your back battery.... You have the front battery fused if you have a short on your power wire, but the back battery won't have a fuse between it and the fuse on your front battery. If the short is inbetween the out of the front fuse and the back battery, you will have a problem.
If I'm not mistaken, strictly speaking you are supposed to have a fuse no further than 18" from your battery.
Some may say that is overkill, but that is how I would do it.... or use a relay or perhaps an isolator where it only is hot to your back batteries when your stereo is on... That is my plan (and fuses) when I do multiple batteries.

Bass Station.... let me look up the CD...
edit... "Bass Station" is in the lyrics- if you want to call it that lol

I used to be a big MTX fan... but since the last 4-6 years, I have nothing for them. Just their old school stuff.

Goodness!
So, how 'bout those McIntosh speakers, bumonskateboard6? I like mine- sound great, no issues, very clean, not harsh at all as far as tweeters go. I am very pleased because they don't sound like the super bright cracking tweeters most people run with and are used to- the McIntosh tweets sound realistic.
Anyone else have McIntosh speakers they would like to share their experience with?

That would make sense why the Government purchased butt loads of stock (read INTEREST or OWNERSHIP) in the banks with the 700 Billion $ bail out. They now own interest or stock or moneys or DEBT that people owe the banks!
Me: "Well, I have no dollars- I can't pay the bank what I owe them...."
Bank: "Well sir, we are now owned by the US government and if you don't pay us, we will take everything you have including your house- that we (the government) have the loan to"
Me: "crap."

You can hear induced noises with any speakers, including a $6 radioshack speaker I have sitting in my closet, if the issue is in the amp. However I do agree better amps are more reliable and are least likely to fail in the run. I suggest getting an amp that is highly regulated like the JL Audio amps, my personal choice would be the new HD amps. They have a small foot print, puts out power from 11v-14.5v, and gives the power out in fullrange. Why regulated? Regulated is better even though the current demand my go up. I rather have the current demand go up when the voltage drops than to have my music go quieter when the car is off. When JL releases an 5 channel amp that has a bit more power for my needs I will be upgrading my amp myself.
Very true.

I typed Mcintosh into google and my wallet ran out of the room screaming
LOL!!! Sometimes you can find stuff relatively cheap if you keep an eye out.
-
Im just saying that you will hear stuff that you didn't hear before.... including injected noise.

I have McIntosh tweets and love them. They are Silk domes that play cleaner than anything I have ever had. Not harsh at all. I highly recommend them. Just know that speakers that good need a really good amp.... if your amp (or anything else for that matter) isn't up to par, you will notice it. That is the problem with that stuff.... it feeds on itself! lolz

I put this in the random pic. post too- but I was so proud, I had to put it where it really belongs.

Sounds like one or more of you cells inside one or more of your batteries has shorted out?
I had that happen with a regular batt- but not a dry cell battery before.
edit: yeah, my battery was ruined. Hope that isn't your luck, bro-
What Tool Do You Guys Use For The Sub Circles?

I use a cutout template and then measure it several times to be sure it is the right size. Then I cut it out- sometimes with a jig saw, but other times my Roto-Zip.
If I made boxes more often though, I would definitely go with the router and jig.... Find your center and it makes those circles "perfect" as you say.
