    lol I love listening to people who dont know what in the hell they are talking about...

    1.This kid at work wanted to hear my old system (15" ma audio) and he was like dang i wanna get a system for my car i think ill get a 14" speaker cause i dont really need one as loud as yours.

    2.then one of my friend said when ever he gets his first car he thinks itll b a mercedes and he wants to get a 24"Subwoofer in the trunk and put 12's under the seats.

    3.then this kid at school said he cousin has a truck with a tuneo(sp) cover and the bed is one big sub box and he had starting from the outside edge 8-12" then 8-10" then 8-8" subs on all 4 sides of the bed and 2 24" subs in the middle and said he runs if off a gasoline powered amp thats 50k watts and he said it barelys moves the subs cause its not enough amps so he is gonna have to get more

    so he has 32-12"s

    (Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

    A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

    - Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder

    - Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747

    - Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool

    - Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself

    - Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire

    - Clear tail lights and corner signals

    - A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)

    - Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

    The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.

    Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

    Can some1 please tell me what the difference between a ricer and a street racer are b/c that eclipse had a turbocharger on it.

    I always thought ricer were stock cars with a fart cans and neon underneath but I guess turbos now fall under ricers.

    I dont consider turbos or superchargers to b classified in the rice category,Turbo diesel???

    Alright well i stopped by the shop again today and talked to the owner sum more. And we went out and took sum measurements he took them a lil short jus to b save and he said he thinks he calulated it right and each sub would have like 3.7 or 4 cubs per and i told him that ported they require 5-8per and he said they might be able to do sealed but they still might b a lil under wat they r rated and not having enough airspace with make them more punchier...He said his box specialist had the day off and told me to stop by tomorrow and we'll have him measure just incase he might know a way itll work to get 4.

    He told me 2 would be plenty loud and id prolly b hitting in the 155-160db.and said that if it still wasnt loud enough thatthey could make me another faceplate to where i could do 12's or 15's.

    Im gonna c if itll work if i have my seats skutted up and door panels removed and maybe even rear deck removed

    Alright well i stopped by audio inovations yesterday to see about them walling my car and I told them how i wanted it kinda like steves with fiberglasses port and all and rhino lining and they said $750 for everything and itd take 2 days to do. that would be for 2 18" fi btls...Well then I got to thinking and thought if i was gonna spend that much on them to wall it i might as well go all out and do 3 18"s or 4 if theyd fit.So my question is would i be able to get 4 18" fi btls wall'd in my 4dr accord?
