  1. Hey Steve quick question why do u printout a huge sheet of stickers out rather than just printing out just one?

because if i print just one, that entire section of vinyl on that same row will be wasted anyhow. Might as well use it for something.

What kind of printer/cutter do you need to to be able to make those decals? I love seeing you use those decals in builds, it adds a whole new level to an already amazing build!

  2. Props on teaching your kid how to do this stuff himself! My dad taught me in the same way, you do it all (with a little guidance of course) and if you screw up you just learned a good lesson, and I think that's the best way to teach. Way to many kids are completely mechanically-illiterate these days and even if he looses interest in audio (lets hope not lol) the skills he learned building that system will be useful to him for the rest of his life. Keep up the good work!

  3. I have been working with Metra for a little while now and they still have tsunami stuff on the dealer site but they didn't send me a catalog of tsunami stuff, everything else though. They are calling T-spec their "Competition Level" so I assume them are transitioning from tsunami stuff to T-Spec. Also I don't know if it means anything but the clearance area of the dealer site is mostly tsunami stuff.

  4. Honestly the T3's look better than the T5's. Can't wait to see what else is planned for this thing.

i like them both in their own ways but there is no denying which one sounds better :D

I do have a question....how come you didn't go with a marine type speakers for the RZR? Wouldn't those take the abuse better?

    because it isn't a boat. :)

That being said you ever think of doing a boat? That would be epic! Then after that you need to do a system in a plane, and then after that a submarine, the possibilities are endless!!!! I guess you are pretty busy with other projects already though ^_^

  5. Looks great! Just a question is that a push/pull system with the fans or are they all pushing in one direction? I've heard alot about them supposed to be in a push /pull setup and i cant tell if yours are. Im sure you know what your doing anyway haha keep up the good work!

they are not push/pull. Not really needed. The trunk has a vent that can let hot air out. Plus, i think i pretty much explained in the video that it's highly doubtful this car will see the road, EVER. Even if i did, it would be fine.

I figured! I don't know much about fan systems just trying to learn more about them! Thanks for the response!

Did you check the video? If not, you should it gives an idea of how much air those things are moving.

He did do a push/pull in his Tahoe, another build I recommend you check out if you haven't.

    :)

Yeah I've seen it! That's why I was wondering, I did watch the video too I had a feeling it wasn't but I wasn't sure so I asked! It was pretty cool to get a direct response from the man himself!

  7. This is amazing, its kinda sad that your kid has a better system than I do right now....

will it depress you even more saying i did a quick test on it, and it did a 161 at 38 hertz on a termlab with 800 watts. But that is the mic right outside the port. The box is way to big at 1.3 cubic feet. so i am going to drop it down to about .75 so i can get the frequency up to mid 50's and hopefully produce a better number. In Midwest SPL the meter is put 12" out of the port so i still have a lot of testing to do and get it dialed in
