The high quality butyl rubber Second Skin uses is highly water resistant and once applied to a dry surface and bonded well it will keep water from penetrating. The butyl used in automotive windows which is highly waterproof is very similar to the quality butyl used in Second Skin Damplifier/Damplifier Pro. Thanks for the info from the other two members also, keep up the great work.

Well it is just butyl rubber and coated aluminum. I wouldn't apply it underwater, but I would say you could classify it as "waterproof."

I set my EQ in my car exactly like this using a dialog sheet that I have found on the net and my mids and highs sound clear on the money. This a awesome data sheet for tuning the EQ and tweeting the SQ on the high and mids.
