-
king, i notice they didnt work in one of ur other trheads either, the excursion flex one i think?
-
link doesnt work for me
-
cant help it your a slob J/P man......
maybe thats just it... who knows...
-
make the shirt black, and everything else blue, im not a big fan of white, looks good, but gets dirty too fast.. it always seems that i get my white shirts dirty... no matter how careful i am
-
>_< the spares arent exactly cheap but hey
some ppl have the extra money tho...
-
wish i had the extra money for it... but i plan on buying a new alty first...but maybe ill have enuff for both, if the prices are right....
-
how much shipped to 54452 (will be shipped to a business so it will cost a little less via ups
-
ignition, remote, accessory, whatever
yes
ok, so i could just run a wire from the remote on my hu... that would make things a little easier for me, and about how much they run?
-
the amp draw thing, only thing i have seen that can do that is a clamp meter.
the voltage meter, stinger has one to offer, its just like wiring an amp. 12v, ground, & turn-on lead
so i would just run another wire from the pos on the bat to the meter, and then back to the ground and wire the turn on to the ignition?
-
as long as it conducts you're fine
ok, cuz thats what i did, when i needed a little extra space for running dual runs of wire to the amps... i didnt want to fuck with cutting it shorter with the die grinder, so i just piled on the washers... is there a way to see what amp draw each amp uses? and if i was gonna get a voltage guage/meter, how would i hook that up?
-
well the terminals arent just going to slide on like butter, cause then they would be kinda pointless... they have a screw to loosen it but you still gotta wiggle the hell out of it to get on nice then screw it.oh ok, then you will be using ring terminals then i guess.
unless you plan to upgrade battery too?...
maybe in the future, but not right now... is it ok to use a different bolt, that would be longer than the ones that are in there so that it actually goes into the battery?
-
you mean they slide onto the posts on the battery? cuz mine doesnt have any posts, its just a screw going into it...
-
terminals should fit fine. you may have to apply some pressure to get them on tight
what do you exsactly mean by that?
shit i sure hope i get that loan i applied for... 500$ personal loan, for a few reasons, need to get my car going, and itll make a loan history for me... that would allow me to get the alt, big 3 kit, fuse, and terminals...
-
would those termimals work on my batter, its one that has the screw in the side... so when i do it, i just put the bigger wires in the same locations as the stock ones are, and i dont remove the stock ones?
-
depending on your vehicle.. i would say rough estimate of about 5-7ft of wire(preferably 1/0awg) to be safe and if you dont have those nice battery terminals then you'll need about 6 ring terminals...4 if you have the nice terminals...
and a fuseblock with fuse...you'll want the biggest fuse for that wire. so if you do 1/0awg then a 250a or a 300a fuse would be great.
if you're still skeptical just get 1 of these kits from eD, thats where i got mine, and they give you soo many extra ring terminals
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_i...products_id=163
and get a fuse block with free fuse from knukonceptz...ANL one
is this the fuse you were talking about?
which wire does that go onto, the positive to alt wire? and 18 inchers from the battery?
http://knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20
and what do you mean by the 'nice termanals'?
and where do i find the ground to engine block and ground to chassis wires? or where are they usually located?
and does that big 3 kit work pretty good? or would i be better off buying all the shit separately?
my car is a 1993 chevy cavalier 2.2l 4 cyl.

they come with 1 year warranty you can buy an extended warranty.
well if you order the alty its still going to take about 5days to come to your place....
yeah, i know, it wouldnt be comming to my 'place' tho, ill get it shipped to work, so i can have it right away, dont want any of the old ladies around here to steal it on me... and would someone be able to make me a quick, 'shopping' list for the big 3 shit, wires and all the connectors and shit, that would be very much appreciated..
-
cool, cause i recently sold my camera and i can finally buy a new one. i plan to go friday to Sears and pricematch from B&HphotoVideo for an new camera. also i am placing a large order for wire loom at wirecare.com tonight so it will take about 3-4 days to come here. bare with me mang
ill try, its just really hard doing shit (going to work, and doing everyday things) without a vehicle, but ill get thru it, shit, i ride a bike to work, which has to be atleast 2 miles from my house, and its not so bad, just hate to have it get 'hot' out again, but the reason i am willing to wait, and save a few bucks to get a HO alt is so i dont just fry the 80amp stock ones nemore... i wanna do things 'right'... the second time.. lol and do iraggi alts come with any kind of warranty?
-
a week?!!? that might work, since i gotta come up with some money to send doms way first... i have a bit now, but i dont want to send it all, and then need some money for food, rent, bills, etc, so hopefully things work out the way they should...
-
well, what i was getting at is would i be able to wait just a bit, week or w.e. to do the big 3, is there a step by step how to somewhere, with pictures cuz im kinda retarted... and what would i all need, like wire, end thingies, that the bolt goes thru... etc, just so i know what to get. thats again
-
i was wondering if i got a HO alt would i NEED to do the big 3 right away, and would i NEED a bigger better battery up front? just a couple things i was thinking about on my bikeride home from work... (car needs alt...)
-
even if they dont fit, its only 25bones your gamble tho
-
i know this is a little off topic, but would iraggi cut anyone a deal, or are there prices pretty firm?
-
let me figure out my money situation right now, and then ill see what i can come up with, i gotta get my car running again (need an alt.) and i gotta worry about finding a lpace to live, but im sure i can come up with a few bones somewhere.
