  1. It's not going to hurt to mix the batteries unless it's a vehicle that sits for days at a time. It's recommended to get either the D or S series equivalent of your stock battery though. Better life and performance. You don't need a HO alt but it may help. Those amps love to gulp down the current from what has been said by most members here. So the more current your alt can supply, the more efficient an inefficient amp becomes (in a sense). I say jump on that 240A if you can. Have you checked with singer alternators, mechman, and DC power inc? Actually emailed/talked to them and not just looked at their website? Not everything is always listed.

I didn't actually contact them I just looked on there website I couldn't find a stinger alt though I will have to contact them about it.
  2. I have a 2011 Chrysler 200s 3.6l My cars stock alt is 160amp so not to bad for stock. I recently bought a Zv4 12 rev2 and a hifonics brx2400. I have 1 run of sky high ofc 1/0g to the rear so far. I want to get a d3100 for the rear but can I mix the d3100 with my stock battery?? If I do that will the life of both battery's decrease??? Also do I need a H.O alternator??? The biggest one I can find for my car is a 240amp Thanks!!

  3. I want to get new subs for my car. I have decided between these subs. The alpine type r 12 and the sundown sa 12. I will be getting the 2 ohm model and 2 subs. The alpine type r is 1000watts rms but a sa12 is only 600 rms. I want the louder subs. So would 2 type rs at 2000watts rms be louder than 2 sa12s at 1200watts rms???? I've seen videos on YouTube that people push the sa 12 over 1000 watts rms. I would be using my subs daily so if I got the sa 12s would I be able to give them 1000 watts each and have them not blow up?? For the amp I would get a Hifonics x2200.1 d 950watts @4ohms this amp has 2 channels so I would wire one sub to 4ohms then connect it to one channel then the same with the other sub. <---- would this work????? Money isn't a issue and I can afford both of the subs and amp. I just want the louder subs with good sound quality. Also I want the ones that would produce louder lows(don't have room for 15s)
