    or u could also go with a Hifonics XXV-COLOSSUS

    1 ohm: 1600 watts x 2 chan. Bridged

    Man, I have been getting more and more problems with my computer... I think I have a bad bottleneck somewhere but I dont know what it could be... I was chillen on aim, had some other shit opened, and the computer was slowen up, right before it started getting slow I double clicked a song to open and it froze up then my PC reset. When I got logged back on it said "Windows has recovered from a serious error" and I sent the report, and all it said is there is no resolution for the problem, but keep sending in the logs... I wish that my car project was done, so I could get some cash for that SLi set up i keep dreaming about...

    i have always run some programs and always have kept my pc runnin like new. u should give them a try.

    the short list is...

    - window washer

    - avg anti-spyware

    - ad-aware se professional

    are u all sure that would work? cause the alt would be charging the first battery, but nothing would be charging the second. and the amps would pull from both batteries, so eventually, wouldnt the second battery go dead? i think there should also be a straight run of positive and negative between both batteries in addition to everything in the pic.

    thats what i was thinking would happend since there will be only one wire, and in the middle it would have 2 outputs for the amps. so basically all current flows to the middle, and not completing a full circuit. good thing i posted here before ordering my cable.

    i think im going with having a solid wire for batt 1 ----- batt 2. and from batt 2, have a run to a dist. block under the seats for the amps. bad thing is, ill be going to mex for a lil vacation B) so my proj. will be put on hold. and ill have some more time to think about the placement of things.

    dunno if its been said but, have u checkd the grounds on ur stereo? or the grounds of the RCA in the stereo/fuses?

    like, the fuses from the pioneer stereos get burnd very easy and some ppl run a ground cable off the chasis from the stereo to the outer part of the RCA connector in the stereo.

    yea, its getto :lol: . but its an easy way to know if ur stereo got fookd and its sending the weird alt/engine noise to the speakers. if its messed up, try to get it repaird.

    That would work just fine, but if you want to save a few bucks, just run the wire from front battery to back battery, then run the + and - wires from the batteries to the amps, and bypass the distro block. Also dont forget to chassis ground your rear battery.

    i would but u see.. what what happend was.. i cant fix the cars' trunk at the moment cus a lil water pours in when it rains, and its been raining alot lately here in Tx, so the amps are under my seats as-of-now, lol. homie cant live without the subs man :lol: so i came up with this plan cus, it would be a lil too much cable to run 2 straight lines from the back batt to each amp. and since one amp is only pushin the door speakers, im going with a 4 g. cable for the small one. damn... i cant decide now on how to run the cables... <_<

    any other ideas ?

    aigh so, hopefully this week ill be ordering my stuff to upgrade my wire to 1/0 g. , do big 3, and add the 2nd bat to the back in hopes to reduce light dim and have a better punch to the subs :D . but while i was thinkin of all the stuff i though :unsure: ... if i run things like in the pic... will the 2nd battery in the back get charged cus the line from the front bat goes directly into the distributer? the distributer i plan on using is http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-23 cus it can take 2 1/0 g cable in, and 3 out. i was tryin to find one without the fuses.. but didnt find one cus ill still have to add a fuse to the alt *cus of big 3*, and a fuse to the rear bat.

    will this be ok? :huh: , or should i just run a straight wire from the front to the back bat., then from the back bat. run a wire to the dist...

    I talked to the Orion rep and asked for a demo but they claimed the cars electrical system was acting up...

    :lol: WTF!! how can they take the car and not have it working good... oh man...

    is that box made out of metal? probably is one heavy box in there, damn :lol:

    the new hifonics amps and the comp sub look nice, i think its called colossus xxv, has a big-o magnet. and i guess im one of the lucky ones to have a good working bxi amp, cus mine hasnt let me down any time, but oh boy... it does eat some power, my voltage used to have a huge drop *from 12.4 to 10*, so i added an oltima and it fixed some of the problem.

    ill just wait some more and go with a bigger amp cus ive been lookin into them fi's... damn, they are some very sexy lookin subs! still havent really decided which way to go... i like to plan the whole thing first, probably every1 does. ill probably end up going with some higher-end hifonics for amps *and later move into the higher-end RF amps*, and maby throw in 2 bl's in the car.

    The hifonics.....Its brand spakin new from hifonics 2007 line amp...Think it shouldn't be even overated....Look into the XXV line for great products from hf.

    yea, i saw @ sonic that it was spankin new. right now i got the bxi 1606D runnin @ 1 ohm and it hits pretty good for its price, if not better. and gots to love the fuckin remote bass knob :wub:

    What's up buddy, I help out Neil Barber of Team Maxxsonics, the Hifonic amp are just alittl overrated as ratio as 2000watts RMS rated ( is to ) about 1800watt RMS tested! That's at 14volts though

    The Hifonic amp can also stay stable at 0.5 all day long, with mini. problems!

    They solid amps, you'd be happy with them

    Alittle 411 - The Brutus have alot better sound at 1ohm than the XX series!

    damn :lol: i wonder how many watts i be gettin then. i gots to upgrade my electric, but will try to do very soon (add 1 bat, and upgrade alt).

    but yea man, so far my Brutus amp has been great :) but i want to upgrade my system to hit a lil harder. its soo easy to get addicted to this shit man :blush: damn. once u go over 1500 watts rms... cant go lower, MUST GO HIGHER!! :lol:

    any comments about Power Acoustik amps? :unsure:
