Thanks for all the quick replies. I guess I should have elaborated a little more. I listen to lots of different types of music. I like my bass to sound clean but loud. The reason I want to go sealed is because I've already got the enclosure. That doesn't mean I won't go ported later though. I also want to keep the box size small because I'm going to have to "jerry rig" it up on the rear seat of my truck (ext cab Dakota).
I've tried Image Dynamics before, but I can't remember what series they were (I think they were the entry level series). They did sound good but just didn't get low enough for me. I've heard good things about DD, but was always under the impression that they need a ported box (I'd like to stay sealed, at least for now).
The 2500 series dd will work fine in a sealed box

They dont put prices on the net b/c they protect thier dealers unlike a lot of other companies. Some dealers do over price the DD line however I will admit that. Call DD if you have a dealer near you and you think they are over pricing you and they will tell you what the map price is suppose to be.

No problem man we all have to start somewhere.

Hey man to get power you need the voltage and the amperage then you multiply them together. To get ohm load you divide amps by volts(or volts by amps...I always forget). You will need your DMM and a Clamp meter and clamp around the positive speaker leads and of course the DMM set to AC volts with leads on speaker terminals.

Who cares if Someone doesnt beleive you or not if you know for a fact its right. Then why do you care what someone else thinks ?
It dont matter but I just hate it when people question me.

Why do people on youtube not believe that was tl meter on my 159.4???LOL I only compete USACI. I will admit its a good score for 46hz and 12000 clamped watts compared to alot of other people with walls and 20000 plus watts.Anyways now you see why I said get it on video so people dont question it.I have alot of people that will tell them they have witnessed it first hand at comps.

Loburban I do 159.4 or so now and yes this is in the kick USACI style but I can do 156.6 legal and @ 46hz. This is a street beater not spl burp machine and only 4 2400 watt amps too boot. :hairtrick:
Oh yeah tell them about my fine tuning skills on your amp LOL. Im glad your gonna post the vid for the people that dont believe my scores.
