  1. don't think that'll do. its a surround sound system. noise will be my biggest enemy in this case. (correct me if i'm wrong)

    altough thanks for advise!

the 360.2 is your answer, all it needs is a signal from your source.as far as surround goes you may need 2 360.2's but will be costly and a pita,(if it can be done)..

as far as sound goes, the 360.2 i used in my car was very quite and presented very little if any unwanted noise....good luck

  2. I see bad things happening here, that's an awful lot of power and spendy subs for your first system. but since it seems inevitable, I'd go with 4 DAT 2500.1s they put out 3200rms and you can get 4 for around 2876 bucks, give or take a few. DAT and DC = the win ;)

agreed...i see no topic or discussion of electrical for something of that caliber,1 300 amp alt aint gonna do it,1 kicker 1/0 amp kit aint gonna cut it either...dont want to spend 10,000 on amps?

hell i got more in my electrical than i do in both my amps...do you have an electrical plan?

  3. This car was made before armrests in cars were even thought about. Its back seat is like one big piece of leather. I was considering venting the subs through the rear deck, since I'm making one anyways, but I don't know if I will be satisfied with a bandpass box. I'm a fan of subs that can do everything; drop low AND slam. I've never heard a bandpass that I would want to listen to everyday. You?

if you read my post you can clearly see where i said "theres no reason you couldnt port through the package tray"....and yes i love my 4rth order flat from 30-90hz,get someone to design a 4rth around the subs you plan to use,if you arent familiar with them...
