a DC Lvl 4 can take how much daily? how loud would a single 15 be in a explorer or expedition etc.
-
good luck man, sorry to hear that.
-
so my w6 is getting tiring. thinking of one 15 for daily. i want loud clean low bass so i was thinking either
a DC sub or Fi Q or BTL
whichever one is best, was gonna run 2k rms daily in a ported box to about 32 hz or so.
any suggestions? just need sub suggestions right now. same price range as the q or btl please

http://shopping.msn.com/prices/crunch-pzi-...rdata=795340427
you have to look for the P1500.1 the pzi was discountinued a few month agos. they just renamed it the crunch P1500.1
http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseac...FTOKEN=30682165
would it be that? shipped 148$?
-
hell yeah. i have a crunch 1500.1 powering my american bass hd 15. it gives it more than enough power for my taste. they get a little warm at 1 ohm so i plan on adding a fan for each amp. other than that there is nothing wrong with them.
is there a site cheaper than 170$ shipped for one of the crunch 1500.1's?
-
i own 2 of those and the 1400.4 i am more than satisfied with them the one does a little over 1500 and the other one does like 1400 and change. i used to have horrible voltage drop into the 9's and they stayed one. i would deff recommend them.
all i need is an amp to do 1k rms or more. would the crunch 1500.1 do it? wired at 1 ohm
-
thats not what i said. re-read what i posted. i was saying that i dont think one 15" l7 would be louder than the cvr's.
sorry for that.
-
the crunch will not do 1000rms or more. should be at 750rms
so hifonics it is, thanks
-
would that be more reliable than the crunch? will the hifonics get hot at all? and nice setup btw i love your vids
-
if you are doin that because you think the l7 will be louder than the 4 cvr's, i dont really see that being the case.
maybe you should get 4 cvx 10's? i see more potential in that than one 15 l7. only thing would be powering them...but that shouldnt be too hard.
but if you are stuck on the 15 l7 then go for it....nobody can stop you from doin what you want to.
dont mean to thread jack ora nything, but your saying 4 12" cvr's arent louder than a 15" l7?
lets make a situation, 4 12" cvr's in a sealed box vs a 15" l7 in a ported box
cvrs on 1600 rms l7 on 1k rms
which would be louder? if the L7 would be i think i have to sell my current system (2 cvr's)
-
i heard Crunch is over rated, so i was thinking of getting this one hopefully it would do 1k rms maybe even more. I'd go easy on the gain of course and i could use it in further systems.

or should i get the one rated at 1k rms @ 1ohm

You could do what I did a couple of retards were messing up and destroying shit on my block and it was every other night or so. So I thought it would be a good idea to sit on the side of my porch with my tipman 98 custom with auto reasponse trigger on the second night I got them shot them up and they went sceaming like little bitchs nothings happened since.
Edit I Hate battery powered keyboards
sounds like a good idea

how much for the kicker fuse holder and fuse shipped to 33860
-
-
320$ shipped obo. only thing wrong is one sub had a little tear on the surround but fixed with clear silicone. videos are on www.youtube.com/graph1cz
-
? huh? ik, i've had both hifonics amps and jl amps, what i was talking about will do the same as a 1/0g to 4g reducer, but be free and take maybe 5 min to do per. but idk. thats me.
Bills
oh sorry i read it wrong, i thought you were talking about crimping 0 gauge and putting it into the amplifier 12v input.
-
@soberbills
hifonic amps i believe have wire to just go in and allyn wrench them in. i could be wrong. the same inputs as a JL amp and such
-
200 shipped for both? are they in good condition? pm sent
-
price 2 shipped to 33860?
-
Looks like 3.3 gross, 2.7 net. Tuning around 45hz
quick calculation, might not be perfect...
i knew it was tuned pretty high. =[[
im a rap/daily driver type of person.

I've ported sealed before, I took my old MTX box, cut out a piece from the side of the box, and put some MDF pieces through on it, was a pain in the ass to build with this box, but I did it, I would not recommend it though.
na, if i ported this box i'd aero it would be easier.
-
Needs to be bigger then this for best results.
how big is my current ported box and what is it tuned to?
-
I would recomend a 4.25 cubic foot box with two 4 inch aero ports.
is that per sub chamber? i would love to make my own box with the help of my father of course. He's been waiting for a chance to help me out with something.
