  1. ive read in a lot of places that mounting the amp to your box will kill it.

ive had my amp (PA a3000db) mounted on the back of my current box and the back of the box with the 15's. no problems. i believe i got it last summer but im not sure. point is it has taken a beating and no issues

thats why steeve mounts a 4kw amp on his box to kill it huh? lol

  3. That's the one. It's pretty much just a constant 50hz tone the entire song. I wish it were available cause it would be perfect for me. I think I'd be able to bassrace a 149 even or better with that song.

Hey zack since your peaking that high you should try bass mechanik...peaks around 51hz

  4. Yep those are all great songs, add to there jeezy thug modivation 101, deff works for most set ups since it plays 44 and 41 hz....bass mechanik is also a good one for any one who has a high peak around 51hz...hello brokyln also works by jay -z and is peaky around 49 to 52 hz

  5. There is a problem with qualifying with a 128.5 or something like that. If you get beat in the first round and you qualified with a 129.9 you would get more points than someone who also lost in the first round who did a 128.5 So there is a benefit to qualifying with a 9.9 and that's why I've tried so hard to do it at every event. There have been a few times where I lost in the second round and still got 3rd place since I qualified with a 129.9 ALWAYS do a 9.9 or a 9.8 at the least cause it will help you in the long run.

Also typicaly anything below a 9.8 is risky for qualifying especaily at a larger 2x or 3x show. But usualy a low score will get you the last spot if a bracket is not full. Usualy 29 and 39 fill up at so its a good idea to qualify with a 9.8 or 9.9. To be safe qualify with a 9.8 if your not sure wanna risk busting out. Sitting at a 9.8 is very safe and will not bust out with within the last few seconds of a run as long as you dont touch the volume. If it does than your deff using the wrong song. Thats another big key, chosing a song is everything

  6. As far as I have heard, you can slow a track down if you want to.

The only thing thats not allowed is a straight solid tone, which can be seen on the frequency readout on the termlab.

Yea yo deff cant modify a track at all. Me and mike talked to sam about this many times...if you could than shit you could speed up bass machanik and bassrace a 170+ with an extreme veicle haha

  7. Try bassracing with a bass knob instead of the volume on the deck. It's not as hard when you can just tweek the knob a little bit instead of turning up the system a full click and it being too much. I set my deck volume the same everytime and don't change it while I adjust the bass volume with my bass remote. I'm one of the few people that I've ever seen bassrace this way, but my scores don't lie on how well it works for me. I've qualified with a 129.9 or 139.9 at every event I've ever been too using this method.

Haha i rember the first time i saw you do that zack, at the HD show in kent. I was like wow hes got some control with that thing lol. So far i think everyone has included the basics here

As far as material you also cannot modify a track by slower/speeding it down or up. Also cant "add" any background tones or anything. But you can play it back on any source unti. I think jay thompson (think it was him) bassraced with his laptop cause he didnt have a HU installed yet haha.

Also no rules as far as enclosure or equipment location, as long as it does not interfier with the mic. Everything must be sealed up and only one peson (the competitor) may be aloud in the car..pretty simple rules and tons o fun
