  1. I would isolate everything and lay on a peace of wood just the mobo with cpu and ram and power supply. Short the turn on pins and see i the cpu fan starts and listen for peeps. Then add the video card and keep going untill you run into problems. If nothing happend with the bare mobo, cpu and ram try just cpu and mobo, see if you get beeps or if cpu fan turns on. Try different PSU even if you have a new one. Be sure the extra 12v for the mobo is plugged in from the psu as well.

  2. just like any amp though, that 149 dont come off one amp unless its in the right hands......forget the bassrace score and start times, couldnt be less interested....im lookin at a 149.5 with 3,000 watts, that is fuckin GREAT!

Tis very true steve, im sure we would have the same results with any clean 3000 watts. Its mainly the way the box and car is set up along with the great woofers.

  3. ok. so my sig shows my current setup... the box was rebuilt over 5 times to get the loudest spl number possible. so my question is... will 2 Fi BL 10s with 2 crossfire 600d's and the perfect box(or almost) with a khc2400 put up higher numbers?

edit - this is going to be ported(probably port back subs back depending on how big the box is)... if i left anything out just ask

same power same electrical, half the cone area? Yea it will be about 2-3Db SOFTER

  4. is it true that crunch is made by hifonics ?

Maxxsonics is the parent company for MB Quart, Hifonics, Crunch and Autotech. The Hifonics line hs the best amps out of the four IMO. But as stated the new crunch GP3000 is deff a good amp for the price. A Autotech4000 is also a decent amp if you can get one

  5. why dont you put the subs and port on the same plane? It would get better results in a trunk

well the subs will not fit facing bck, and the port facing up probably wont have the best results....this is just the first of a few boxes for these subs, amps and trunk. probably one with subs and ports facing into the cabin sealed from the trunk, should touch a 150 from that and it will still be a trunk setup. Trust me the is NOT the best desgin for a trunk, we just made a quik box to test with even though the subs are choked off

  6. why cant u do 1 amp per coil? they will be getting same power

Well if he was to do a silly thing like that, it would be WAY to hard and complicated to "match" both amps so that both coils would see EXACTLAY the same power and signal. You could easly fuck the coils if you do it wrong....also if he was to to that, each coil is 2 ohms, so you would see 2 x the power the 1500 does at 2 ohm.....now if he was to seriece the coils to get 4 Ohms, then strap 4 Ohms each amp wouls also see 2 ohms just like the one amp per coil....so there would be absolutly no point at all to do what you said ;)

  7. so do i put the positive wire from the woofer to the positive on one amp, and the negative to the negative on the second amp?

first parallel the two coils on your dual vc woofer...then you will have two leads from the woofer, one + and one - with the sundowns just "bridge" the negative terminals of the amps to each other, and connect the + wire of the speaker to the + terminal on the master amp. then the - speaker wire to the + on the slave amp. be sure to have the RCA's ret right for straping amps

  8. Whats the big deal? Its not like I'm doing this alone.. I do have helpful advice from the people around me. The 10k watts fell into my lap.. Lol now im fishy. What am I doing? cheating? =]

never mind you obvoisly didnt understand me. No one said you were cheating or thats its a big deal. But what IS a big deal is 10k watts and a 18v set up, not something you see everyday. Just figured you were either joaking about not know what dbdrag is OR you dont really have the setup in your sig....if both are wrong than damn you better get out to those lanes and kick some ass!

  9. so i just got my amp the hifonics 2607d and im outside hooking it up positive to positive neg to neg and rem. to rem. turn the key on and it goes straight to protect mode there arent any speaker wired connected or rca's i made sure that there arent any little pieces of strands of wire touching somewhere. everything is good wtf is the problem??

well if its brand new, never had any speaker wires or RCA's connected, hooked up right, turned on and went right into protect its 99% likely a bad amp. Just check to make sure you are getting at least 12v at the amp power terminals as well as the remote wire....probably gonna have to send it back
