well did the HU shut off too? If not i would just run a posotive wire from say the ignition switch to the amps...or right from the batt with a togle in the middle to turn the amps on...either way be sure to put a small fuse on it since its not running through the HU

ok thats good, but i think there might be a fuse on the power wire that runs from the siren to the brain, what kinda amps does one siren pull?

Ok i got an avital 2100 installed by a DEI dealer about 8 months ago...its great but i want the srien a little louder, so i bought two DEI 6 tone sirens...my question is, will threee sirens be too much current for the alarm brain or fuse and cause problems? Shall i just use a relay for the two new sirens and just get 12v relay signal from the current siren? Will this cause a slight delay perhaps in the second and third sirenc with the relay taking time to click? Thanks for the help

Hmm sounds odd....i have the same set, but 5 1/4....the little inside the crossover is an inductor that takes the extra current from the tweeter when over powering the set instead of blowing the tweeters...mine come on if i play too loud and they distort, but the amp dont shut of ( there a hifonics 4 ch amp)...ok question:
1. How are the amps wired as far as the rca connections?
2. Do both amps go into ptotect?

what i do is take the fuses and add them then times them buy 14.4..and you will have the output of the amp..i dont know if im correct but its like im very close to the amps ratings..try it!
Example:
my hk401sx has 3 40 amp fuses with adds up to 120 then times that by 14.4 which equals 1728..my amp is rated at 1800wrms at .5 ohm
Make sure to take into account the efficency bro...so times the end result by say.7 some amps will be more some less...also thats not that great of a way to rate an amp, but probably the best and closest when your dont havey any equipment or even say the amp, on hand

Dude what car is this going in? I know not the cavi cause that thing wont even fit 2 15" s lol. also your gonna want to wire all coils in serice, then all subs in parallel to get a final 1 Ohm load...and if the rms is 175 x 8 subs thats about 1400 watts. Maybe go with those brutus bxi2008 or 2608...either way i dont know what your puttin em in or how you dont think your not doing a wall

looks good...just be sure to secure everything good, cause it looks like your using 3/4" mdf and you got it double thick an with the big cut out its gonna be a lot of extra weight on those door pannels
