Can't see on my phone, where are you at in Texas? The flooding in Austin and south of Austin was ridiculous. The Blanco river was out of control the whole weekend pretty much

  2. I'm running 2 sa12s with a 2000watt pyramid amo and I don't know much about car audio yet I'm wondering if I should run the big 3 if so can someone please explain to me what advantages there are when using it?

Everybody needs the Big3 upgrade. My diesel was having slow start issues even with new batteries, did the "Big6" since I have dual batteries and now it sounds like the starter is going to spin the pistons right out the block.

  3. When I did mine I decided to take a wire brush to the gold plated ring to clean up all the flame marks and the point where you melt solder. Question is did I just make my terminals susceptible to corrosion or rust? I see a small ring of orange around one of my ground connections on my passenger side battery that appears to be rust or corrosion (no picture). I did this for my Big3, or more like a Big 6 for my duramax, but it has only been on for about a week so I'm worried about the longevity of it. I bought techflex and more heat shrink so I have to pull the wires out anyways to dress them up but I'm wondering if I should buy new terminals and redo everything without brushing off the gold plating this time around.

Here is a example of a terminal I did:
