how do you use a solder pellet? Just drop or on the flug then hear it up while jamming wire into it? Just realized my plugs are closed today when my spool of wire got here. Can you get those at menards or Home Depot ?Definitely use flux, and if the solder doesn't flow, add more flux. It's not necessary to sand the inside of the terminal so it's bright, you're chemically cleaning it with the flux.
I'm suprised that no one mentioned solder pellets for the big closed lugs? Or tin/solder pots for tinning wires? Tinned wires aren't always the answer though. If you twist em round and tin them for insertion into your amp outputs, you ultimately give up a lot of surface/transfer area versus a flattened cable, tinned or not. If you leave your twisted up cables bare, they flatten and spread out easier.

That's awesome.. I've never seen a windshield blow out I guess.

That's just fucking stupidity right there... Ridiculous.

I'd definitely say do the big 3.. Less stress on everything and it doesn't hurt.. It'll make a difference with what you're running.

That's awesome... I can't even imagine how many hours you spent...

Inline fuse as in the fuse coming from my batttery. None of the fuses on the amp blew.

I have, well had an SA12 on an SAE-1000d. It started on fire anytime it'd get power and then my inline fuses would pop. Not sure if it was from excessive vibration or running it at lower voltage. Either way It'll pound that sub.
Don't mount the amp to the box and make sure your voltages are above 12.4 and that'll be a good amp.

Entered! Hoping for that big 3 kit.
