Upgrading to another fuse isn't gonna fix that problem. If you upgrade the fuse all that can do is make it worse, because then if something else goes wrong, fuse doesn't blow because it's rated over what it should be.

I'm not to far away. Besides casinos and fishing, which still isn't that great and I fish every weekend around here, it's pretty much a lame ass place to be. Of course I grew up here and am trying my hardest to get the hell away so I'm biased.

i just got 2 dual 4om 15" L7s and the hifonics bxi2610 and i need help with a box. i want a ported box so what size should it be? tuned at, port size, etc. i have a 2004 ford explorer xlt
You should go measure out some max dimensions and then come back with this question.

and im looking to upgrade some from what i got wich is the 700s and its heats up Fast at nly 1400 wts maxx so do you think ill at least be louder wit that amp or stick with the rf i got.. anywhere i look i cant get the same amp i got undeer 250 and i paid 70 bucks for it from a crack head haha

You aren't gonna get 3k watts out of $175 unless someone just gives you an amp. And whatever you just post is bull, that amp won't do 3,000, not even close, Ever.

I think I need help before I hurt something. Here is the amp that is ordered:

Says 4 gauge recommended, so don't know how 8 will be. (edit: 6 gauge minimum hmm) Also, I am presuming a 60 amp fuse is adequate, although presuming with fuses seems dangerous.

Well first, take a measuring tape & get the dimensions as they are. You might be surprised. I measured mine (not a Ford), and I can fit a Deka 9A31 stock.

First you have to quit SCREAMING!!!!!! at people. You have to run the 1/0 through a distrobution block to to feed a smaller gauge wire into the amp, that's the only way to do it unless you get all new, smaller wire. As for your wiring problem, you haven't even told us what impedence the coils are.

Rusty is considering a 4,000 but it isn't a definite by any means yet.it hasnt been annopuced because it was supposed to be a secret.

Still not as old as my 10 year old MTX amps! LOL!
Oh ok gotcha! There shouldn't be much difference, I'm not positive but I don't think Hifonics change much other than the cosmetics from year to year with their amps.
