The batteries are just gonna give you storage. You need an aftermarket alternator or a module from Missing Link(mines on the way
) to solve your problem. -

i have 4 power acoustik 12's powered by 2 crunch 1500.1's. when i play gorilla zoe money man or joc i know you see it, my voltage drops to 11.6 or 10.8 if it has been beating for awhile. i know this is horrible. my boss wanted me to try some stinger 1.2 farad caps. 1 for each amp. well, they did nothing. now, i know i need some battery (ies). i just dont know what size and how many. any suggestions. they will be kinetiks.
What size alternator you running?

Well the title pretty much says it all.
It started with me supposedly violating the noise ordinance, I got pulled over for that.
I was driving with no insurance
I was driving my project which I barely drive. Then I was told I had a warrant for speeding tickets 2 yrs. back. The cop told me I couldn't bond out, so I went to jail and luckily I was able to bond out (Cop was an asshole)After I was placed in cuffs the cop says "Your one of them fucking kids that like loud speakers huh?"
So, me being a smart ass cause I knew I was going to jail said "damn straight, where you live? I'll drive by everyday bumping loud as hell!"
After I said that he searched my car, and took the woofer that I had just sitting in the back seat and just rolled it onto the ground!
Now that was some b/s!!!!
So I wouldn't shut-up in his patrol car
I had to pay $251 for the tow that took my car, and $400 to bond out
The only thing that pisses me off is rolling the woofer straight from the car onto the cement.
(Scratched and dented the basket)
Woofer was a 12" Rockford T1
That's G-R-R-R-EATTT!!!!! I probably would have done the exact same sh*t had I been in the same situation. The thing is, my license, registration, insurance all that other sh*t is straight, so the cop wouldn't have had any reason to arrest me. I've been on both sides of the fence, ridin' dirty, and riding clean, and cops are pretty much dicks either way. Next time just use the mute button for a several seconds until the pig is outta sight.

I used to run JL. Subs are overrated and overpriced, IMO, but to each his own. I've been into car audio off & on for 13 years now, and JL w/out a doubt has been the weakest set of subs I've seen compared to what other people run locally here in the 'Burgh. Just my 2 cents.
P.S. I voted for the Q's, as if you can't tell.

Yea you get what you pay for? Pay like $100-150+ for a box that you could make for the price of a sheet of MDF and screws. You can have prefab ported boxes that pound(what i have for now) shipped to your house for $60-100. Best amp best buy has by me is a 1000w rms rockford amp..$600 i believe. With $600 i can buy new in the box or barely used your choice of brand 2-3kw amp if you shop online.
At the newest C-City by me(south side) they have 8" dual kicker cvr enclosure..$400 LMAO. They did have a 200a anl fuse i dont know wtf for since they had a very small selection of amps nothing over 500w.
I think you missed the sarcasm in my post. Maybe I should have put this along side it.

well yea, but c.c has their own "box" included. they dont expect people to make their own box.
i know what your saying about it hitting 130, its totally possible. but with the stock included enclosure, 130db. thats not possible
130DB is not at all hard to hit. And why are people up in arms over installs done by Best Buy and Circuit City? Its BB and CC, get real. You get what you pay for.

In a word, "yes". Ask a few people around here who have run those subs, they all like them. There even some tests of those subs in the DC Forum. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I'm currently think about getting (2) DC Level 4 12s. Just search the forums a little, I'm sure you'll realize that's enough juice for what you want to do.

I don't think that's enough room for (3) 15s. (2) 15s or (4) 12s should be perfect for that ride. If it were me, I'd try the 15s first.

Hey i have a question..I have 3 12 inch subwoofers. they are Kenwood KFC-3011.. they have a 1200 peak power and a 400 RMS power and are 4ohms each speaker. I want to get an amp for it but the info they give me for this amp is so confusing.can anyone help...............................Amp info below

What is that crap talking about in the colored specs?. i thought i knew how to match the amps and subs until it put all this stuff on there...im confused...
Meaning your amp will be running at 1.33 ohms if it's stable at that. If not, it'll probably shutoff.
