What's wrong with the RCA jacks and power inputs?
Nothing. It's just bad wording. I was talking about the paint being scratched up, that is all. Amp works 100%.

I am selling my ZRS10. I ended up getting an 802SX to have more power on tap, and the wife said I cant put this in her car LOL.
I am asking $150 shipped. I originally got this in the ZRS10 group buy that happened on ca.com a while back. I have cleaned this amp up alot since I got it. The 'carbon fiber' covers were all scratched to hell so I sanded them down and painted them black.
The only thing I wasnt able to fix is where the RCA jacks and power inputs are, the paint is scratched up as seen in the pic.
If interested please let me know. If you are local I will cut you a better deal.

Im going to assume that the 18 cubic foot box was just too overly large. How much port area did you have? I wuold have stuck with around what you did. 7-8 cubes a sub, maybe 9 like it was, but too much port area is the huge killer of it.
225 sq. in. of port area on both the 18^3 and on the 12^3
-
btw..those are Terry Jackson's old MT's. Quad stiff spiders
-
Hope you find more pics of the MT's in the truck. How did you have them subs and port foward?
I dont have any pics of them in the truck..I have looked and looked:(
Anyways, here was my first box. It was 18 cubes...then built a 12 cube box shortly after. And yes, the 12 cube box was louder.
The subs are NOT out of phase. My camera doesnt like taking videos of subs. Any subs I record look out of phase, and it tones excursion/flex down quite a bit too. It's not the best of cameras, but it works:)

horrible downgrade...
Well, I sold that stuff over a year ago so there isnt any going back..
Give me time, this was a cheap setup for now. I just couldnt deal with the 2 8's in the underseat enclosure anymore. It was awful.
Im not sure if the future holds MT's again, or something new, but it will be loud whatever it is:)

Hey, I take it the box is sitting on the back seats? Seems like it. Man, it must have been a bitch to get that box in there, huh? The door wasn't even wide enough either, huh? I'm actually curious as to how you got the box in. I use to own the same truck, 4x4. And folding the seats with putting down the fake floors didn't even help.
But damn dude, nice job. That is definately going to be deafening. That box looks sweet too. Don't forget some vids.
The seats are taken out completely.
-
Looks nice. How deep is that box? I've got a Quad Cab and if I go any deeper than about 18", it won't fit through the door.
This set-up barely squeezes through the door.
22" deep. You have to take the rear door off, which takes 2 minutes. Then it barely squeezes through, and I mean BARELY. My MT box the front door had to come off and the seats had to be taken out. This was easy:)

i wanna take off ther badges on mine as well. how did u do it safely?
Fishing line is the easiest. You can use lighter fluid like he did, or if you have really stubborn old adhesive/double sided tape you can pick up an eraser wheel for about $10.

i was thinkin the same thing
loox good though
When my wife gets home, I am showing her this thread.

freeggin sweetnessity
but looking at the equip.. why the downgrade ?
love the truck though
and is the truck dropped a lil ?
Yes, the truck has a 4/7 drop on it.
As far as the equipment, dont even get me started. I NEVER should have taken that system out. But, at the time..my wife(then gf) needed the truck because she was a nanny for 2 boys, and her 2 door car was a real pain for her to get the kids in and out. So me being the nice guy, yanked everything out and didnt plan on putting it back in. Well, here I am, 1 year later.
Most of the equipment I can replace, but I never should have sold the step-up transformer. Every day I get online and look for one for sale..along with some v4000's and MT's:)
One day I will probably run something big like that again.

Hey guys..here is the build log for my truck. I posted this in the GP section, not even realizing there was a build log area
Truck:
Old Setup:
2 18" MT's, 14^3@35hz, 225^2 in. port, 2 Visonik V4000XD's, 4 16v turbostarts
Unfortunately, I only have pics of the box and equipment...dont know where I put the rest..
Got cubes?
Here is my current setup:
3 MJ-18's, 14^3@35hz, 210^2 in. port, 1 HK-802SX, 1 yellow top and 1 batcap 2000
Equipment:
Box:
-
great equipment man..by the way, how do you like those 18'' mj's?
Man, I was REALLY suprised by them. Ive always run SPL monsters in the past, or higher priced equipment compared to the MJ's. I decided to try something new, on a 12v system with 1/3 the power. These things blew me away. For $116, I wasnt expecting much at all, and the look on my face when I threw in some BME Click was priceless. It really sucks they discontinued them.

More deadening:
And some more...
Rewiring everything stereo related:
Running RCA's:
Radio, etc wired up and ready to go:
Component amp:
...And that's about all Ive got. The camera saved some pics, and not others. I have no idea why, but what is done is done I guess.
In case you were wondering, "hey, where's the power wire"? It's run under the truck. I got sick of having a lump inthe carpet or having a panel not fit well because of the 1/0 sticking up.
The truck was completely deadened with 2 layers, on floor, roof, back wall, and doors. It is extremely quiet inside and 100% rattle free. Anything that rattled I addressed and fixed. I hate rattles. The only thing that rattles is my sunglasses in the overhead console when Im not wearing them, but they now have a bag they sit in:)
Hope you guys enjoy the pics, and any positive or negative feedback is welcomed...Im always open for suggestions!

Hey guys, new to the forum(been waiting for validation). I was excited to see a groundpounder section, because that is what I am at heart! First off, everyone here has some amazing stuff, makes me jealous and also makes me spend more money...
Anyways, here was my first groundpounder in the truck:
2 18" MT's, 14^3@35hz, 225^2 in. port, 2 Visonik V4000XD's, 4 16v turbostarts
Unfortunately, I only have pics of the box and equipment...dont know where I put the rest..

I will get installed pics later as my camera decided to NOT save all of the ones I took. I also have the video camera charging for a little video:)
But for now, I will post some build pics in the next post to keep you busy! Everyone loves pics, right?!
