I have just bought two 12 Alpine type r 12d2s 1000 RMS each.
I am looking to put them in ported enclosure but need help on what size to use. I'm looking for deep loud and low bass with the best frequency respose possible. I am able to fit a 4 cubic foot box in my trunk after port displacement and sub displacement.
Also if I tune to say 32hz will I get enough bass upwards of 45hz or will it start to roll of/
Also what size port should I use I was thinking 3 inch wide 12 high
does port size affect frequency response such as making the response shorter or longer.
