  1. with the SPARE it doesnt matter the damage because u r only using the mag and basket...so keep pushing it! actually ive seen alot of l7s that this has happened to and they were fine for awhile. just set the gains correct and keep a check on the voice coil temp. we tried a few in tlines(BIG NO NO!) and they were fine after a little smoke out the port! probably not the best thing to do to them but it should still last awhile longer.

  2. o2 do get loud...we sell them so if u r in florida u can stop by. my opinion is that they sound great from across the parking lot but up close they r not so good! there r definitly better out there but they do cost more. u get what u pay for most of the time.

  3. check the ohm load of the tweets with the inline crossover...ill bet it will not show any ohms! usually the inline bass blockers dont let the tweet change the ohm load when installed parallel with the mids. most likely u will still show 4 ohms. if your 4 channel amp has a adjustable high pass filter u can just hook the 6.5 up and use the amps filter for those then parallel the tweet with the bass blocker after the 6.5.

  4. Do u have the bass eq on? if so turn it off. it only enhances 40 htz...nothing else. the low pass filter is up to your preference...set it somwhere around 80 htz. the directed crossover is horrible! if u dont have a electronic crossover, get one! i like the directed amps (especially the old skools), u just have to understand thier shortcomings.

  5. If u r going to run 2 of them daisey chained...than use the 1st one as master than the second one as slave. rcas go into the first one than use a single rca from sync out from the first into the slave in of the second. subsonic cancells out damging frequncies below the level u set it. in a sealed enclosure this is important because the subs will try to play say 10 htz and can be damaged. its not so important on a correctly tuned ported enclosure....but i cant hurt either! they say some subs sound better with the phase 180 out depending on some systems...ive never seen it though. u shouldnt need it.

  6. I have a bunch of these clarion dpx 11500 1500 watt amps for sale...they r brand new in the box with a 1 yr warranty. the specs r:

    stackable with second dpx 11500

    rms x 1 @ 2ohm OR 1ohm ....1500 watts

    s/n >100db

    voltage ....10 - 16 volts

    size .... 21 1/4 x 19 1/4 x 2 7/8

if anyone is interested i can do these for $475 + shipping.

send me a pm and i can get a shipping quote for u or give u my ph # if u need anymore info.

  7. the egr plate is sandwiched between the upper intake and the throtlebody. the egr valve is bolted to that. if the engine is hunting up and down when u start but smooths out when it warms up its usually the iac solenoid or the o2 sensor. u can check your tps voltage if u have a dig multimeter. ill check on the exact wire colors(its been awhile!)...i think u attach the neg to ground and spaer the green wire going to tps with the ignition on but the engine not running. u should read .9-1.0 volts. if not loosen the tps and move it slightly until u get that reading.
