Surprised you were able to get your hands on some of those 690's Steve. I just built 11 computers for the FBI which had a single 690 in each one and it
was like selling a kidney and a liver to get them. We get our GPUs direct from EVGA with our reseller account and they even had to go out of the way to have
11 690s built just for us. Tell you what though, they are no joke....seriously wanted to rape all 11 once I got them in! Haha
Keep up the sexy build! Looking forward to the final product.

Logitech has some good gear.
http://www.logitech....keyboard-combos
Personally though if you can afford to invest in something better to last a much longer time then i would go steelseries.
^ This, I have the steelseries 6GV2 keyboard and the sensei mouse, and they are amazing to use! I have been through a full logitech set and a razor set and neither have come close to the steelseries products with quality and performance.
But also as stated it costs to get quality, I did not cheap out on my razor or logitech sets either, they just did not perform as needed. I do how ever love logitechs wireless mice and keyboards, got a set for media usage.
Mechanical keyboards FTMFW!

Yeah I think Florida will be in for a big hit this year, I live in Clearwater and thankfully I didn't get any flooding or damages from yesterday. Be safe Floridians, its gonna be rough.

They are normal battery life, yet I've gone a week without needing to swap batteries and thats with pretty moderate use. And I appologize for the flash, but that is a 2GB compact flash card. If you need a clearer picture of it I can do that for sure.

Clean, dig the build.
Thank you Sir!
Also the side panel still fits in place with the plexi there.

To be honest I don't like the look of the majority of the NAS enclosures. (Kinda picky on what I want to see sitting on my desk)
Plus where's the creativity in that?
-
If you have three terabytes sitting around why not build a NAS?
That is my exact plan, was going to build my own NAS box for them all.
I've Just put the computer projects aside so I can get my car audio projects underway

Here's my computer, I gutted the insides and rebuild what I wanted with black plexi.

EVGA P55 FTW
EVGA GTX570 Watercooled
Creative Fatality sound card
8GBs Patriot DDR3 1600
80GB Intel SSD (OS Drive)
1TB DATA/Music Drive (have 3 more 1TB drives on the side, no room inside lol)
850W Silverstone Fully modular PSU
Corsair 800D modded (front of case will be getting another radiator and will be getting compression fittings for all connections when funding is available)
Onward to the Pics
