ok.. my budget is $200-$250, need something thats around 1000wrms-1200wrms @ 2 ohms, so a monoblock would work best i guess. i've ben looking at the hifonics brutus bxi1206.. i'm running it to a 15" soundstream spl15 for now, looking to upgrade soon..
I need something thats not gonna kill my alt either, i've got like a 70A-80A alt right now, (stock) in the escort.
any ideas?

for sale is a dual voice coil 4 ohm 15" soundstream spl15, sub is 500wrms, 1000w max, could take 1500wrms for burps/comption use, i did 136.5 dB's with 550wrms, with more power, this could easly get you to 140s..
looking for $135.00 CND, but can work out a deal/trade.
also have a coustic 600se, in great working condition, cosmetic condition isn't the best, if i had to i'd give that 7 out of 10, working condition i'd have to give 10 out of 10..
heres the specs on the amp:
- Triple Darlington Drive Circuitry
- Adjustable Bass Boost
- Built-in HPF / LPF with Continuously Adjustable Crossover Frequencies
- Remote Subwoofer Level Control Ready
Rated Power @ 14.4 V (0.1 % THD) 4 Ohm Stereo: 2 x 150 Watts

nice! I know they can do a bit over 1000wrms on a good eletrical system, so hopefully this deal on my coustic amp goes, so i can get this one!
-
hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has had experince with this amp? might be pickin' one up for a nice price to run a pair of 10s, or my single 15.. not too sure yet.. but either way, i need to upgrade from my coustic 600se .. lol
i've heard some things about this amp, such as it being called the "former grill" they catch on fire, etc.. that type of stuff, anyone had any serious problems with these types of amps? does it happen to just about every owner of these amps, or is it rare to have it happen?
