    does any one know how to find the impedance of a sub? my girl is giving me a old mtx sub that she found in her house from the people that used to live her. i think it works but when i looked it up online to find the rms and stuff it says for a 8 ohm and a 4 ohm sub. this one doesnt say any thing on the sub itself. so how do i do it?

    hey guys i was wondering if any one on here has heard of the band hor!zon they are a local orlando band and music is pretty good. i was wondering if any one has played them in there truck a few of there songs have decent bass. i am uploading the rest of there songs to youtube but here are a few you guys could check out. if you use one of there songs in a demo or some thing let me know how it went.

    hey guys a guy i work with says he has a mojo 5kw amp he will sell me for a good deal. but i was wondering if they actually make/made a 5kw amp and if any one has specs on it and what are they worth. he said he has never used it just took out of the box for display in his shop. also if its a good deal or can get it for a good deal would it be fine to put a fi bl 12 on it. i want to buy one from this paycheck and one next. so if this amp is in good condition what should i pay for it and would it be fine to run 1 12 at 1ohm on it.

    edit: also what size wire would you recommend to run for this amp or a Hifonics HFi2000D 2000watts rms at 1ohm.

    the HFi series are no good, get a brutus bzr 1700 or the 2400

    ill look into them but can a fi bl12 take 1700 or 2400 rms daily?

    ok this maybe a stupid question but im going to ask any ways. i know a little bit about audio but not enough to figure this out. my dad gave me a s10 he built and there is no radio in it. also there is no harness to plug a adapter into so i need to hard wire it. there inlays the problem there are really no wires in the dash since he swapped the motor out to a carbed v8. i mostly just need to know where i can get a constant +12volt from a switched +12volt and a ground. the ground i figure i could tap into the bar that runs under the dash or some where around there. the speakers i can run them anywhere i want to. but where can i get the +12volt sources from? its a 87 s10 reg cab if that helps at all.
