that t8004 is gonna be the deciding factor, cuz that thing throws out silly wattage. power components are loud and clear, real crisp sound with good mids, nothing mind blowing, but solid clear all around speakers
the kicker ss, i dont feel like they have much mids, they are loud and clear, but mostly higher up on the frequencies. looking at your sig, youre running fanatiq 4/tweet center? and the blown down low in kick? and 6x9 in rear? So im assuming its bridged to 2ohm on front stage and each speaker is getting about 50rms. Look into pioneer d or c series components, i love them, and we've had them being beat to death by a punch50 in our work van for like 5 years now (d's) and theyre still loud, crisp, and clear.
my .02, a lot of audio is preference, try and listen to cars with the speakers you're looking for.

idk, the biggest i played with in person was stinger 3/0 flat, which was friggin huge compared to standard 1/0, i was just looking at that and it didnt look like what i expected, maybe u just have some real big hands
-
this may be a retard question, but i'm holding monster 1/0 in my hand and it looks to be the same diameter, is it one of those 4x the area and slightly bigger radius circle calculation things, or is that small wire?
-
all the juggs i heard were brutal, but didnt sound like a daily sub, they sound very peaky to me.
btl's may not be "louder" but the ones ive heard were very comparable, but cleaner IMO
-
happy birthday other Ray, and goodluck with that T&A, always need some of that on your birthday=)

that thing sounds fierce
lol, how to destroy 4 tires in 4 minutes....awd drifting ftmfw
my dad took me to an autocross back in the day, he borrowed his friend's little mitsu and set down a decent time, and these two guys ( a viper and corvette owner) shit themselves when they couldnt beat it. I love that stuff, i wanna build a car for it sometime.
-
how could you love the first one? 75$ for a less than 7 hour long game? i sat down to play to play it after school super excited cuz i got it the day it came out and beat it before dinner....ive never been so pissed in my life
then go online and its slower than non-respawn rainbow 6
ive never seen such a shitty game overhyped so bad....and EVERYTHING being brown or grey kinda just pissed me off

bestbuy owns insignia if thats what you were asking....which is why they make 15-20 subwoofers, 200dollar flatscreens, 12 dollar dvd players, 40$ surround sounds, all of which are bottom of the barrel make the flea market look good garbage. save your 20$ and get a dime bag or something, itll make you way happier.
p.s. the first box i ever built was for 2 jl 10 inch marine's we got out of a crashed wakeboard boat for 10$....built it with elmer's woodglue, nails, and a handsaw, we were just super careful building it and it came out surprisingly good, even if it took all friggin day (i was maybe 12/13 at the time, my friend's older brother was 16 and just had his first car)
i'm pretty sure the red-cone dual's will outdo those subs....they look like straight poop, and if it takes 600wrms from a good amp i'll send u a single 12 box
-
assumed they were some carbon steal heat trated jump offs....made that nice clink sound when they snapped....turns out the bolt in my buddie's capacitor wasnt just stripped, it had also welded itself into the hole when someone tried to attach it
-
well if it's tuned to 64 hertz, thats definitely not the one for you
if you can find a saw and some glue, build one, it'll save you like 20-30 bux and work better than a prefab as long as you're careful with it
-
arent those the 80$ for two subs and a 600watt amp jumpoffs?
bestbuy owned discount companies ftl
both of those boxes cost more than 2 subs....
-
ive had easyouts snap on me into the set hole and then you're double fucked cuz those easy outs are really hard (but apparantly brittle) material.
just a word of warning, spend the extra few bux and get a good set
-
he looked excited, good guess i guess

omg a kitten?

If you're going to learn one thing from here, it's to do stuff right the first time.
new batt under the hood (something like a powermaster 5100, kinetic 1400/1800) 200+ amp alt, big 3 in 0 (charge line from alt to positive, ground from batt to chassis, and batt to rear batt) and then something like powermaster d3100/kinetic hc2400 in rear, two if you can.
Really read through here and do everything right, build the box right, tune everything right, etc. Higher end stuff is a bit more finiky and a lot less forgiving, and i'm sure you don't want to blow your expensive new toy up.
And yes, all that stuff is expensive, but completely necessary, you gotta pay to play.

ooooh check out costco/sams club, they have surprisingly good prices on laptops and will probably have some insane prices black thursday or wtvr that sale day is coming up

try and find one with xp, i ahte vista, its a resource hog
if you find an xp machine, 1-2gb ram, 2.0-2.4ghz processor, integrated wifi/network, 13 inche screen is great, smaller or bigger is preference/battery life, biggest harddrive you can get. No need for audio/video cards if you're not gaming. Make sure it has a diskdrive you need (burner? cd? blu ray? dvd?
if its vista, just make it 2-4gb ram, dual core processor, faster the better. I think i have a dual 2.33 centrino and its pretty nice.
much lower than that and you're going to have a frustrating machine.

cod5=next years futuristic version
cod:world at war=this years ww2 version
call of duty peeps are those kinds that dont like numerical ordering, like gta4 coming after gta1, 2, 3, london, paris, and some other expansion.

.9cubes apiece sealed, glass the tub, about 2.5, bulge it out in a hump, 4 around the edges and 1 up, can be done easily (invert em if you want, they have some sexy ass ends). These guys will tell you, cone area wins any day of the week. I wanted to do it in my car but my spare tire well is like 8 inches to the left, so it would look like ass. 5 12's with 2krms will beat, and g5's sealed will sound great and play any music you want.
like i said, my .02, if you want btl 15's, go for it, may end up being hard, may have to build the box in the trunk, but it's definitely doable.
-
glass the tub and do 5 boston g5's off a t2k
my .02 =)

holy crap, you just gave me a plan b for this winter
i really wanna do a rear deck/port thru armrest, but that looks ill, and looks like it beats pretty good.
-
bad ground or power line for h/u?, try running a test line out the car direct to the batt, and same with the ground, just use like 14g speaker line, and see what happens, if it stops, its just a shitty something in the stock harness.

definately a good starter bike. reliable, easy to fix, and very very forgiving. Plus it's one of those bikes you can push to it's absolute limit and learn how to control it, and apply that to a bigger bike. I rode one last summer and its a fun little bike, nothing extreme, but its nice. Then i hopped on a street drop, stunt gears, full cage/slider. worked out cbr 1000cc (no the 1000, 989 or something, like an '01 model) and almost killed myself, pulled a wheelie with just rolling on the throttle for the first 3 gears.
IMO, get the 500, learn the ins and outs, and trade in for something bigger when you're comfortable with that

yea
i never even found out what happened, i drove back the next morning, the girl was still asleep and we carried her to the car, and my buddy was in zombie mode with no clue what happened either

yea, hes talking about just throwing them INSIDE the door, bad idea, water flows through there in rain storms, Ive seen many cars with "blown" speakers that have crossovers rusted/corroded/in a ziploc bag full of rusty water/electrical taped mummy looking cacoon full of water/etc. Apparantly a bunch of these were from bestbuy/circuit city.
I mounted mine behind the panel screwed to the metal of the door itself, no problems yet. Definately consider where water goes when you're installing your crossovers, or any audio for that matter
