800 watts is the wls
400 watts is probably the max output any any impedance...it will maybe do 200x2 on a burst.

if its cheap, its cheap. dont be surprised if the thing is only good for 300 watts dirty power, or if it overheats. I would waste my money on something like that... but i guess if you need a nice 100wx2 amp itll work :/

install outside of car
if noise is gone, reinstall and dont take any shortcuts. if its not gone, your car is haunted. call the local exorcist or sell it off. by isntall out of car i literally mean out of the car. deck, speakers, wires, amps, on the damn driveway wired directly to the batt ( with a fuse ofcourse). this eliminates the equipment as the source of noise and narrows it down to the car or the install. if it works out of the car, and its installed properly (rcas far from all sources of power, GOOD grounds to chassis for everything, grounded rca's, no shorts) then you just have a haunted car.

do you need to keep the back seat functional? if you can lay it down you have a shitton of room. if it has to sit behind the back seat you kinda need a wall though (or you're stuck with a REALLY small box for 3 15's

i did 3 12's firing up with a square port firing back. not suggested, it loaded weird. a slot port would work alot better, or aero's. sub up port back is prob the best bet in that thing.

a lot of the cars that have 9004 have the dual filament one, where low and high is the same bulb, if that includes you, get the "bi-xenon" one, cuz it has a xenon bulb piggybacking the hid. if you dont do that you lose highbeams.
easy way to check is to look at your headlights while someone goes from low to high, if the same bulb makes it than you have a dual filament.
you'll see them called 9004-2, 9004 bi xenon, or hb1? (maybe hb1-2?)
if you dont care about losing your highbeams then screw it, but you may not pass inspection with non-functional highbeams.

in the us we rate batteries by cca and ah, so 60 doesnt mean much unless its the Ah rating. if it is you already have more than enough battery.
if you're not as loud as you want to be, get more power/better subs/more subs. you may have just hit the limit of what you can squeeze out of what you have. I'd suggest a new box but we have no clue what you have already.

you cant bridge it, its only one channel, hence the extra "1" in the model name
there is one + and one - that happens to have two spaces to connect wires. just like youre one person with 2 arms, that amp has one terminal with 2 holes and screws.
follow that diagram and stop thinking so damn much.

i have about a half dozen at this point....none in long island, only up at school because there is no real crime, so they bust you for doing 35 in a 30, being drunk and walking home (so you're not drunk driving, which is a real crime. keep in mind the farthest bar is 6 blocks from my house), and other minor things over and over and over. theres been times i've gone to court with 4 separate "voilations" with the same court date.
the law by me is 85db outside property lines at any time between 8pm and 10am. I've never been metered, they just give me "disorderly conducts" for "willfully and knowingly creating a disturbance" if they can hear it at all...i usually just get them thrown out or turned into a parking ticket, but the ones that dont are 190 a pop

power acoustik has never done rated as far back as i can remember, i'd be surprised if that thing could manage 2000 watts, let alone its "5500 max, 3200rms". dont ever invest in a power acoustik...
and purdy, we're already up to clarion/cadence/cactus/carver/cdt/cerwin vega/coustic/crunch/crown, where have you been? lol

those jvc's are pretty good. ton of features for an entry level price. We go through a ton of their HD radios too. only ever had one come back, but it was warranteed that day and the customer got a brand new one for free. you'll def be happy with it, just read the manual, the menus and such are kinda funky...

yea i feel your pain bro. 3800 and change for one visit when i had pnumonia. luckily insurance covered most of it, but the medicine they prescribed had no generic, so i had to pay like 200 and some out of pocket ontop of the 100 dollar copay for the visit (which is like a full month of my expenses as a non-working full time college student).
and about that socialized medicine thing, our nation already spends more on healthcare than any other country, including ones with universal healthcare. it would jack taxes up like another 25% and increase our spending by more than a trillion dollars a year. i'm not saying it wont happen, im just saying that a whole lot of rich people arent going to like it, and we know who has all the power...

hella wires there bro, throw that amp on the back of the seat, and loom the wires down into the crack, little stuff like that makes a big difference.
and if you feel like building a ported box, cars like that usually respond well to a nice sub and port back box.

i kinda noticed after like 20 hours of being played hard, the smell just went away, tuning and songs the same. i guess it was excess glue on the VC or something?
and stilltippin, add power till it smells, and thats what it can take. they're pretty damn forgiving of being played too hard for short periods.

i've done 4-15's and 2-18's off about 5kw in BIG ported boxes in similar year tahoes, and they def moved hair but it wasnt an all out electrifying hairtrick. 2kw to 4-15's sealed wont do much of anything, will probably sound good though
