i already own both of them. say i were to keep the memphis and sell the re audio. how much should i sell the RE audio for? like say put it on craigslist. and say i kept the RE audio how much should i sell the memphis for? also my RE audio power and ground is a 0 guage input (what i currently have) and the memphis is a 2 guage i believe
The re sure has some small 0awg terminals lol dude those are 4awg terminals on the re. So if you got 0 awg wire it's probably more jacket than anything.

Just ground the rcas to the radio chassis and it will solve your problem.

In my ranger I have 3 in a 4cf box with an 8in port tuned to 32hz powered by an audiopipe 3k at 2.6ohms it plays the lows great it peaks at 34hz on the tl the best I've metered is 148.2 outlaw at 34hz and legal 144.3 at 40hz those subs are awesome for lower hz. And the way the suspension is designed its as if it's a ten.
-
If there the subs I'm thinking of then a sealed box is the way to go. About 1.25-1.5cf per sub.i wouldn't put no more than 300 rms tho they tend to blow easly.
-
Omg people think they know it all these days. The old school kicker amps had crossover modules kinda how audio control has hz chips for the epicenters so yes his amp can be used for subs and second people don't read he said its for a home theater

From experience I know that the tweeters are very sensitive once you over power them or give them any little distortion they blow. When I install the kappa components I always put the tweeter at -3 . The midrange is solid but the tweets are crap.
-
Stay with the audiopipe it's better hands down.
-
For your budget I'd recommend infinity kappas all the way around or polk mm mobile monitors both sound clean and loud

What flea market in Texas? Here in San Antonio you can get pretty much every brand at the flea except stiff like dc Aq fi rd but all mainstream you can find at the flea market new in box with warranty . I know because I have a car audio business at the flea market. Been in business for about 6 years.

Yes those are easy to get loud.
-
You just got used to the bass. Now it's time to upgrade
-
I say go with four q-power new deluxes
Look at this on eBay:
New 1500 watt 12" QPower Sub

Those amps aren't as bad as boss there actually ok amps for what you spend on it. That amp is about ~$70 dealer cost
-
How good do these sound
-
Yes!! they are the best, i got the three combo with an extra battery for 200$ at lowes, best drill i ever owned
Same here I got them when they first came out . There beast . What's that box fit into.
-
Looks good I have the same dewalt drills I love then Ive had them over a year with no problems use them every day

i installed these = Infinity KAPPA 692.9I 6x9 in a ranger not to long ago. The quality of the sound is better than kenwood or pioneer or even polk audio (tried them too). If you want to be loud i think those speakers are the way to go. check out this video and they where under powered at half the power. After wireing everything and using the DD-1 to set the gains, honestly they are loud enough for me because they make my ears ring if i play them too loud. pushing them with a RF 400.4 bd which is a perfect match.
Omg that ranger has the same setup that mine has but I have kappa 3 ways different hu subs and amPs but its the same style box
-
I have the kappa 6x9s in my doors on 100 rms and they keep up with 148.xx bass
-
Is the sub out on? Switch the rca, s to rear and see if it plays
-
Your not going to be able to get the box in the trunk you would have to maybe try to fit it threw the door and remove your back seat to get more clearance to get it in the trunk. Or you could build it in the trunk which is hard. I'd say 2-12's 1.5-1.8 cf per sub at like 32Hz. That would be your best bet. Imo

Go with an audiopipe 1500 or 1800. I have a 3k with just a red top up front big 3 2 runs of power and ground stock alt. and I don't drop under 13. 4 . For highs I'd say a db drive a5 90.4 the cost on that amp is about 100. And its super small for the amount of power it puts out.
-
It was probably stuck between a gear, some fords have this problem. With time the linkage gets loose and it doesn't properly go back into park.

I wanted a dd -1 but my girlfriend instead told me she was gonna me clothes. I bought my self a snap-on 3/8 impact. But I might order myself a dd 1 Friday when I get paid. I got her an iPhone 4s tho: /
i figure someone's gotta buy me clothes, may as well be her because I hate shopping and I can't ever find anything I like... by that I mean anything she would let me wear LOL. Snap-on is good ish, bro, good choice.
All I want I'm sure I'll never get... time to work on my little build. Doesn't fail, when I plan to work on it, suddenly some family emergency visit to the mall comes up.
I know what you mean. When you make time to work on your own vehicle something away happens and you have to rush and half ass it go the moment. The impact works wonders for removing seats and doing train horns its the strongest drill I've used with a 14. 4 battery.

The amp is probably just hot. What load are you running ?
