    well i have pushed my amp to the max but i dont think the subs where getting the max

    no bro hes saying that amp dont do 2,400rms it does 2,400 peak watts (fanticy land power) amp prob does 600rms. (continuous power) big different in the two, you will learn that. go to the12volt.com and look up how to wire up ur subs. check what kind of amp your hooking it do and check the type of woofers

    sooooo, it costs twice as much as a netbook that does a whole lot more, and doesnt even do as much as comprable tablets from other companies, and its ugly as hell

    i sooooo called that apple would rip off archos again

    maybe they were wanting to have something new to come out and didn't really have any new technology to offer. so their guys with all these degrees and business shit said I GOT IT, lets take the ipod and make it 10'' big and slap a cool name like ipad and sell it for $500-$800. genius.

    Okay I am going to lay out in order a time line then address your $$$ question

    1) Choose Branch (for this instance Army)

    2) See recrtuiter again (at this point you should have talked to all branches (Jar Heads, Fly Boys, Squids, Puddle Pirates, and Army [sub note do any of the other branches have ball busting names for us???] And I say all the names with love)

    3) Go to MEPS Military Entrance Processing Station

    4) Look at jobs and find one you want and a contract you can live with.

    5) Sign said contract

    6) Waiting time. Use this time to do physical training. I recommend lots of studying ranks, people in charge in the US, and of course SHIT TONS of push ups, sit ups and running. Some branches have other things, like Marines have Pullups, the Air Force have crunches, and the Navy........well I donno.

    7) GO TO BASIC At this point the pay, insurence, health care, and people bitching at you kicks in. Bonus (if any) will be discussed later.

    8) GO TO SCHOOL for your job. You will do physical training, school, and studying.

    9) If active duty you report to your school. All info following is for Active Duty. If you choose Reserves or National Guard you will go home till your first drill.

    10) You can now upon inprocessing go to the college office and learn about the colleges offered on base and locally. On line will be strongly reccomended, and I also encourage this.

    As for deployments, they come here and there and are branch of service, job, and duty station specific. For example if you go to Korea you have little to no chance of deployment. You will prolly do alot of field work there, but its not too shitty.

    As for money here is a link to the 2010 Military pay charts. You will be looking at the E- section for enlisted. If you have enough college you might be able to come in as an E-4.

    Military Base Pay

    You will be looking at the first colum as you wont have 2 years.

    As for the 2k a month um bro lemme explain something here, since your not married you will get a meal card and thats 3 meals a day at the Dining FACility free. If you somehow get off base housing (which as was already pointed out CAN happen but again is branch and location specific) you will get EXTRA money for housing, and for food. No meal card so if you go to the DFAC you would have to pay. Keep in mind having a civilian girlfriend does not give you any added ability to live off base.

    so i talked to a recruter today for the air force. he was telling me that since im a junior that the ROTC program is of no use to me, which i figured that since u apply as a sophmore. so im looking into my options. my goal is going into grad school and finishing my college, only thing is my grad school is allot of money and i dont want to pull all those damn loans for say 150k by the time im done. if i did sign up for active duty, what would this mean. does this mean i get shipped out right away? or do i go do my training then come back and continue school until they need me, then if or when they do i go off for those amount of months. then come back and continue my schooling. only thing im really confused about. my main thing is i want my school payed for and i want a monthly salery of atleast 2k each month while in school

    Okay guys lets get some shit straight for this guy.

    1) You WILL NOT be able to have some one come check your shit before you sign. Its not allowed.

    2) You will sign on a computer and get a paper copy of that. The days of sign on the dotted line are gone. Its now sign on the plstic thingy if you agree with this.

    3) Dont join the AF cause your girl is an 'AF type girl' USUALLY (not always thought) that means she is a tag/wing chaser (soldier/pilot groupie). I dont wanna see you regret the military beacuse of some trim.

    4) The only 'good' money is in officer or after you have served as a DA Civilian. As a Joe the base pay for an E-4 with 6 years isnt even 3 grand a month and you lose a grip on taxes.

    5) If you want to do the overseas deployed thing longer than 6 mths at a time the Marines or Army are where to go.

    6) That being said almost (if not all) the stories before I posted are from Marines Infantry. I dont know how much you personally ineracted with the AF but they play a completly different game. Its not even the same staduim so dont let that deter you.

    7) The Army DOES offer enlistment bonus' and they usually are pretty good. Start researching jobs and let us know what interests you before you go find your job and sign. We can help you know what its REALLY like.

    Basically all I am tryin to do is lay alot of stuff out for ya bro. I dont wanna see ur girl burn you beacuse she sounds like a military groupie, I dont wanna see you sell yourself short, and I dont wanna see you hate your choice. Just let us know where YOUR heart and mind leads you. Ignore her and her wishes. I say this from PERSONAL experience. If she TRULY love you she will accept whatever you decide. (And that from MY wife who is in the Army herself).

    let me start off by clearing what i said up a little bit. lol shes not a military groupie or anything, I've wanted to join for a long time but didnt know how she felt about it. after talking with her about it she actually surprised me and was down for it. she said shes there for me on whatever i choose to do in life and she has her bags packed to go where we need to go if thats the case. im doing this for me, no for anyone else. im into the medical field big time, its like my life. i want to do physical theropy or medical school. those are the two things that interest me the most of all.

    my main thing is i want to join and continue in my schooling. i dont know how that works? are you considered active duty? do you get deployed while you are in school? if so do they usually keep it down to a minimum so you can finish school in a decent rate? ive hurd they pay like 2k a month while you are in school and housing allowance as well, is this true?

    how far are you from your bachelors? if your close hold out and try for officer spot in any branch...

    i apply to grad school this coming fall but its a hard program and only let like 35 students in. so if i dont get in im going to school for another year until i apply for the second time. if i dont get in again then im going to have a bach degree and prog go into grad school. thats the plan

    im going to tell my story on this.

    I was 18. no money for school. no way my parents could pay for it. In a dead end town with a chair factory and lumber plant and the nearest semi big city 30 minutes away. I enlisted in the marine corps and left for boot camp. Did my thing in the Marines for 8 yrs. Watched and buried countless childhood friends from stupid shit. Almost all have kids or multiple DUIs. They think making 30 grand a year is great pay. not good but great. I've been home maybe a dozen times since that day in 2000. Nothing there except the girls who wanted nothing to do with me before I left now love me because I'm not a local anymore. Except they all have something I don't want lol. Fast forward to today

    I'm 28 yrs old. Own my own home. I'm married and have absolutely no bills besides my house bills cars insurance and cell. I made over 100k last year. And I can directly contribute that to walking away from everythign I knew at the time and enlisting the Marine Corps taught me everything I know about my job and invoked the things in me that have caused me to do well with my current job. If I had stayed at home and done what everyone else did, I might be dead. At the very least I wouldnt be living the life I have now.

    Just something to think about. I find my story is very similar to alot of people who are contemplating this very decision.

    wow man thanks for that. I've thought about the air force since high school. im 22 right now and been going to college for 4 years. My fiance is a really big air force type girl and was actually telling me to join. she loves the traveling factor and has grown up around this type of life style. yes you are away from your family at times, but if you love each other that dont matter. I find that my parents and sister are threatend by what we have in our relationship, i dont say this much but she is the only girl i have ever dated and only girl ill sleep with. lets just say its true love. anyway, i want to provide for her and get out of school without owing so much money i can buy a house with it. I estimated i would save over $150,000 after i get out of my DPT school being with the air force. thats 150,000 i didnt have to pay.

    Well you can join us in the Air Force . Just make sure you keep in touch with your recruiter and score high on your ASVAB but its an easy test just sucks in timed lol . Have you thought of what you want to do? Thought of when you want to Enlist and all that stuff?

    ive thought about this coming up fall, and i was going to school for physical therapy. If i cant do that, anything thats medical would be cool to. also do you get a inlisting bonus and stuff? is the pay good?

    well after going to school for four years ive decided that i just might go into the air force. i think that they can offer more for me than what im getting right now working 2 part time jobs and going to school full time. if anything help my life be a little more easier with school money and make the weight off my shoulders. im not one to worry about getting shipped off anywhere as thats no issue to me and i will gladly serve my great country. just told my future wife and she is all for it as well. im going to be talking to some people soon about what to do and when should i sign up. One of my family members knows allot as hes in the army so im going to have him with me so i know just what im signing and agreeing to in paper terms. cant wait to see what all happens and hope that this will help me be a better person and jump start my life.

    what do you guys think? anyone in the army, airforce, ect that can give me any advice?????

    Exactly. My mothers 04 ford van needed 700$ worth of fixing in the last 1 week, so I paid for that, which DRAINED me for my bills this month. It seems when ever I have a LITTLE pillow in my bank account, the fucking shit hits the fan

    i would consider to stay away from bankruptcy at all cost to you. you can pay it off, not next week but it can be done. but once you have them payed off, you need to throw them out. if you cant pay for anything cash at hand then that means you cant afford it. its that simple. onlything i see that can be different is getting a house and getting a car to start out on. other then that, dont buy it if the money is not there

    I made the chamber once and tested it out but never installed it. Mine would pull somewhere around 30-35 amps if you would let it! Lots of bubbles! I do know that HHO generators work. Simple electrolysis. Put an electrical charge through water and boom! It separates the Hydrogen and Oxygen- and now you have 2 things that will combust and facilitate combustion. :D

    If you install one there are things you need OTHER than the HHO chamber. You need a PWM or a Pulse Width Modulator to facilitate in the electrolysis so the water doesn't get UBER Hot. Check it out, these people have them in different sizes:

    You also need to have a "bubbler" to keep the moisture going into your motor at a minimum. And you need a backflash preventer or a one way catch in your tube. If your motor backfires without one there will be trouble.

    I keep on meaning to really work on mine. Perhaps I take vids to show how I did my first one? It looks like all the other vids on YouTube though.... people turn them on and out come the bubbles. :D It wouldn't be hard to set one up on a relay to your ignition and with a defeat switch. That way it can only be on when you have your key on.

    My setup us 4 Xplod 10's On 900 watts rms in a sealed rear facing box. At 50 Hz i hit 123 db, I hit 125 db on Pete Pablo - Vibrate. I know that the mic is accurate within 2 db. It was measured at the Dash . I am Going to be Building a Transmission line for my next setup. At 50 Hz i hit 123 db

    meter from radio shack? not to be a dick but they are crap IMO, but if u just want something to get an idea of something is louder or not then it will work fine. I think its off more than 2db

    I swear everytime I'm about to start building, somebody has to do something to my car to fuck it up. Got off work last night and saw a nice hole in my driver's side back door window. Tint was holding everything together. I mean WTF. It's the middle of winter. Even though it's been warm out I don't know if I just see a random person going distinctly for my car like that. Shit stinks to me. Luckily we have lot's of cameras in the parking lots at work and I beleive I was in view of at least one, if not two of them. Waiting for cops and work to get back to me on it.

    Sucks having to get it replaced and then get it tinted again. My car is pretty well known so maybe they were going to go for my shit, even though it's all been out since October. Alarm could of scared them off. I have the Viper 791XV. The remote did go off, but I was listening to music at work and didn't hear it go off.

    This almost makes me hesitant to start my build now.

    thats just the risk that is out there and we all know it and take that risk. sorry for your window though, sucks .

    my alarm i just got goes up atleast 1 or 2 times a day during school (university of south alabama) and im sure its from door dings or book bags hitting it. just shows you how pep just dont give a shiz about your stuff.
