Thanks for your input guys. I checked the Keystone site closest place is in Atlanta 4 hrs from me. But I got an
upholstery shop in town So I will go check them out. So what adhesive do you recommend dr.db?
Or Anyone??

I'd be surprised if Lowes didn't have it.
I have an Ace Hardware a couple blocks from me so I almost never go anywhere else but Lowes should carry it too.
Cool Bro thanks for the info Ill try to get down there tomorrow.
-
I use 3M Supra 77 spray.
Can you get that a lowes? I am probably gonna go get some carpet this weekend if I get a chance I will try
that shit.
-
I am gonna carpet it probably Just as soon as I get time. Darker color does sound good now that i think bout it
Just a quick Question What kind of adhesive does everyone use for carpeting Boxes?
-
Anybody got any Suggestions on how to cover the front of my box so it looks a little better?
I was thinking carpet that matches the interior But I am open for Opinions!

If i'm feelin froggy they're gonna be ported, but I'll probably run them sealed due to the small ass trunk its going in and the fact that i've never done a ported box and im kinda afraid I don't have the skill. I'm thinking of doing sealed, then later down the road flipping the box into the backseat and making a wall i dk though only time will tell. this is my first vehicle with back seats, and I REALLY enjoy them so far lol either way the box is going to be a bitch i'm going to remove the trim panels from the back build the box in the car and slide it into the trunk then replace the trim panels.
as for an amp I'm thinking the rf 1500 because of its size and I hear it runs really cool and doesn't suck up much juice and of course its rockford fosgate so its good, but i'm also looking at the sundown 1500 its a sexy ass amp lol
I would go ported just my opinion, But just to let ya know if ya dont already Sundown is running their $425 shipped
Special Again on the 1500s.

i posted this shit a WHILE back....FUCKIN HILARIOUS!!!
I thought someone would have But wasnt sure. The guys at work showed me this. Had me LMAO haha
-
i would vote for the RE over the kickers...but the kickers have higher power handling. so i might take them over the RE's in this case
I agree RE might be more dependable But either one is a good Buget sub. Just depends on how much
Power you are going to have available. You can get both loud with the right Box/Amp Combo. I ran 2 15"
Cvrs off of my Sundown 1500 and they did alright. The install is 90% of it IMO. Good Luck

DAMN!! I was so excited but they're out of dual 4 ohm which I need, 4 dual 2 ohms will give me either a 2 ohm load or a .5 ohm load and i want 1 ohm grrrr
Thanks for the input! I'm 99% sure im going with the cvr's
From what im looking @ 4 dual 2 ohm will give you either 1 or 4 ohm final load

Any suggestions? I checked my savings today and i'm really close to my goal to buy my subs. The plan is 4 15" kicker cvr's just wondering if there is anything out there for a better cheaper price. Whats the cheapest you can get cvr 15's? I can get them off of ebay for about $500 and my local shop quoted me a price of $750
Just wondering if there is anything out there that will be better than the cvr for around the same price range.
http://www.cartronixplus.com/ $99 per sub I think like $18 for shipping. Cvrs can get down for the price imo.
Good Luck

Oh yah... the alternator is the stock Jeep alternator. This thing has to be like 30-amps... when I added the Powermaster batteries it can't get over 14v anymore.
We do have a stock replacement battery under the hood as well with a single run of 1/0 from front to back.
You see everything else in there in the pics... no sound dampening yet, no mods... just folded down seat to mount the amps to.
Yea jacob the older Jeeps had some really week Alternators, The newer Jeep grand cherokees arent Bad 136 amps stock I believe. But either way Looks like you guys over at Sundown are always havin Fun haha. Keep up the Great Work.

Looks and sounds great keep up the amazing work bro. I love the "Step Beyond bro " comment. haha
Just wished I lived closer to Cali. haha
-
fiberglass is your friend for open back seats xD
Yea I havent worked with glass much, just the corners of the box. The seats do still fold up i just want a little better look when I flip them down(which is 90% of the time.)

well if you were planning on getting another dual 2 sub later on, i would look for something that is either .5ohm stable, or something like a kicker zx2500 or something along those lines that puts out good power @ 2ohm... also you WILL need at least one batt in the back to have enough back up to keep up with any amp that your gonna put to them subs. but for now, do the big 3 if you havent, and you should be "ok" for now. i would suggest investing in a batt tho. just my .02
check into a American Bass vfl 200.1 or something like that.. you can find them for around 5 bills. they are also .5ohm stable ALL day long.
they also put out 2000@2ohm, which would give them subs the rms needed. and if ya got frisky, you could run it @ .5ohm for around 3500ish rms with good electrical to back it up.
X2 on that ^^^^ And for Sure on the electrical upgrade
-
please..?
Do some research Pick a couple amp then maybe someone can steer you in the right direction. Are you definetly going to get another sub? So you will be wanting to run the pair a 2 ohm?Or Burping @ .5 ohm for comps? More info is needed.
