wait.. i fail.. i recommended buying from best buy... what was i thinking lol... Sidewinder makes a pretty good alarm.. i have it in the cavy.. im not sure if they have proximity alarms though. but you might look into it
If i buy from anyone it prolly be chode 69 at his work. Unless my boy brandon cuts be a awesome deal at his shop

the trunk is pretty big but that would ruin the cool thing of the back window rolling down. Not to mention not very clean.Plus i need my trunk for lacrosse stuff and wat not for skool

Every car is different. Some are hard and some are easy. Mine is very easy to tear it all out.
Why would you need to take the dash out to do carpet? Just tear the old stuff out and put the new stuff in. Or if you're a pioneer, you can sew/glue fabric to the old carpet and put it in for a custom look.
I was told by another del sol guy everything is simple till you have to take the dash out and thats a bitch!

Your headlights would look sick blacked out as well. I did it to my accord headlights. Use a heatgun to pull apart the backing from the front. Takes about 20 minutes per light. Then you paint the chrome insert inside the light. Looks sick when its done properly.
Word i got a heat gun i did all the body work on the car had to buy one lol. Ill look into that. But well see i found anice set of black ones for the front but Im tryn to build a system for it and then Boost it.

Love everything about the car minus the taillights. Tinted stock ones would look better imo.
Yah that is actually what im doing . Those euro tails where my buddys i just threw them in for me to get around. But now my car is kinda in a tight spot in the garage. To where i cant do much with it in there to spray the tint on my stock tails and to let them dry to put them in instead of the ugly ones that are in now

I havent got a chance to get around and tint my tail lights i was going to get to it today but all this snow kinda pushed that off for a little bit.

So has anyone layed new capet in their car before? How hard is it? I kno you got to cut holes for the pedals and clutch and so on. How hard is getting the dash out??

look around.. i got a hell of a deal on a BNIB old school alpine alarm. Has a dual proximity sensor.. if someone breaks the first ring.. it chirps.. if they break the second it sets teh alarm off. I can also expand it by adding a pager to it that will page me and tell me exactly what part of the car the alarm was set off.
All of this and i traded 10ft of 8awg and 7ft of 4awg.. hell of a deal.. just try looking around.. if u want viper.. check best buy.. they sell just remote lock alarms..

Well Im finally going to start my system Build for my del sol. Ive done the exterior now im ready for the interior.
Im going to start By Stripping the interior and laying New carpet down. Along with having my seats redone.
Then im taking the storage boxes Out to Build a fiberlgass sub box that connect to the center console and flows with the arms rest of the car for 2 10s behind My seats.. Here is what i got done so far
Im thinkin 2 10s alpine type r with a 1500 watt amp?
Still got to pull the seats and lay the new carpet down. Havent yet figure dout how the dash and everything comes out.

So, Yeah i was talking to chode69 about getting a alarm for my car. But he said i can get a viper5900 for around 450. Well i dont need remote start and i was looking around 250ish I just want something good where if someone opens the door it goes nuts, Along with a few sensors around the car. Such as if someone gets up against it or something.

Recently, had a 600watt song amp, and a 600 watt pioneer, 10inch sub just wasn't enough bass for me. lol i recently installed two 12inch Rockford he2 subs, and a 1500watt Rockford 501s with base controller. I know they say that the he2 need a lot of air space but for a tiny car there is only so big u can go box wise in my trunk to still be able to put the top in there. Eventually imma build my own 2 12inch custom fiberglass sub box for my behind my seats with 2 extra 6 by 9 inch speakers. giving me 6 speakers in the cab of my car and 2 subs. so here are some picture of the he2 and the Rockford sub rings thanks to nick g. Next plan is a 1000mf capacitor, and to get my trunk dynamate.

yes that is what i plan on doing. i did my door panels why they were off to get to my mirrors while i was painting my car
